WELCOME TO THE WYCHEPROOF LIONS

The Wycheproof Lions Club was Chartered in 1962 and we are now celebrating 45 years of service to the community.
The Club Directors meet on the First Tuesday of each month and a Dinner Meeting is held on the Third Thursday of each Month



LIONS FISHING TRIP 2010

On the first weekend in February the Lions held there annual fishing trip, this time to Murrabit



AUSTRALIA DAY 2010

Australia Day 2010 was held in Centenary Park on a perfect morning, A large crowd gathered to enjoy a breakfast cooked by Lions Members








CHANGEOVER DINNER 2009

On Friday evening June 19th the Lions club held their Changeover for 2009, Lion Len Storey was inducted as the new President for the 2009-2010 Lions year. Past President Lion Trevor Botheras pins the Presidents badge on Lion Len.


Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Storey Clan, Len, John and Joan and below part of the crowd enjoying the night



AUSTRALIA DAY 2009

The lions Club conducted the Australia Day Breakfast with a special event in the unfurling of a memorial to "Bunny" Read, Bunny's daughter Leanne was the guest speaker after the breakfast on a fine summers morning at Centenary Park,

Pam Wallace was presented with both the Wycheproof and Buloke Shire Citizen of the Year awards

Award presentations were made to Event - Steaming up Broadway,  Young Citizen- Cobie Durie and Wycheproof and Buloke Shire Citizen Pam Wallace.

DISTRICT GOVERNORS VISIT

The October dinner meeting held at the Royal Mail Hotel , incorporated the visit of the District Governor, Alan Crilly, accompanied by his wife, Lion Marg Crilly, who were greated by 42 Lions, Lions Ladies and guests.

CHANGE OVER FOR 2008-9

On Friday 20th June the club held its change over night when Trevor Botheras was installed as President of the club for the 2008-2009 Lions year

LIONS DEB BALL

On Friday 18th April the Lions Club conducted the Deb Ball for 2008 with 7 sets of Debs, A very good crowd witnessed the Debs being presented to Lions President Trevor White & Lions Lady Val along with Buloke Shire's Cr Stuart McLean & Nucia.










CATERING FOR REUNION

On Sunday 13th April catered for the Sayers Reunion providing a BBQ Lunch in the Park.

On Thursday 3rd April more work was done on the Train

LIONS FISHING TRIP 08

The annual fishing trip took place on the first weekend in March to the Wakool Junction,The catch was not very big in size but enough was caught to have a nice meal on Sunday lunch time,Gary Driscoll won the fishing trophy with a nice Yellow Belly
