Annual Wreath Project ~ Sacramento Valley National Cemetery

Remember A Vet - Honoring Our Fallen

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to, and including my life."   That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.  --Author Unknown

Our mission is to secure donations to purchase wreaths, ensuring that each grave site at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery is recognized and honored during the holiday season.

We are also concentrating on raising awareness of this project and encouraging other civic groups, organizations and individuals to join in this effort each year, for this and other cemeteries.

Midway Road detour:

Important information for people traveling westbound on I-80: the Midway Road overcrossing has been demolished and will be rebuilt during the next several months.  For now, you'll need to either take the West A Street exit (before Midway Road) or the Meridian Road exit (beyond Midway Road).
