On March 15th, 2016, we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved Ivan.

After an 8 month battle of being in end stage renal failure, he reached the end of his time with us.

We will love and miss you forever "Monkey"

"Ivan" continues the tradition of his parents in Hungary, with proven performance in both the field and show ring, possessing natural field ability, as well as the conformation structure, temperament, and correct coat, as set forth in the breeds standard.

We are pleased to announce Ivan has now sired his 5th litter.

His offspring are earning show , field, dock diving, Rally, and obedience titles around the country, as well as being fabulous companion dogs and great ambassadors for the breed! Ivan consistently produces very typey pups who are carbon copies of himself.

His pups are living in homes across the US and Canada and can be regularly seen in the UKC and AKC show and obedience rings, and field events.

One of his daughters, Vidor's Dinca Dancer ("Dani") passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability test at the age of 5.5 months!  She is the first  Wirehaired Vizsla to ever have passed this test at less than 6 months of age!!!. She got 94 pts and a Prize III, pretty respectable for such a young dog, trained by a first timer to the NAVHDA events.

 Ivan's two daughters:

"Dani" (UNJ, CA, GRCH Vidor's Dinca Dancer, TAN, NA Prize III,CGC,TDI, JH )

"Tulsi" (UKC, IABCA,Nat/Int JHA, ARBA,KC-USA, UCI, CH. Vidor's Tulsi Fountain, CGC, RN NW1, NW2, CD)

are the two most titled Wirehaired Vizslas in the USA,  (maybe even worldwide).

Another of Ivan's daughters, Vidor's Elmira,RN,RA has completed her second AKC Rally Obedience title with owner Lynn in OR! Very proud of "Ziva" and Lynn!!

Below is one of Ivan's male pups, "Dunham" who takes after his daddy

If interested in a future puppy, please fill out the online application and we will be in touch with you.

"Ivan" had a spectacular ride to his UKC Championship. He finished at the age of 7 months. With Multi- Best Puppy in Shows, Multi- Group placements, and Multi- Best of Breeds, he was the #1 Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla in the UKC for 2006 with only 2 months of showing. (Nov-Dec.2006). "Ivan" and his brother "Cain", were the first US Champions for the Zöldmáli Kennel. Sadly due to an accident which shattered a front tooth, which resulted in it having to be extracted, Ivan's show career ended early, before he got his GRCH title.

Below are highlights of his fast ride to his Championship.

Accomplishments in 2007:

 April 2007

Ivan passes his UKC TAN (Natural Ability) test on April 14th, 2007 at age 11 months

making him the first of his breed to pass the TAN test in the US.!

The test was hosted by the Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Society, held in Washington Iowa. Pictured with "Ivan" are Judge Randy Meester and my husband Bob who handled Ivan for this test. I am very proud of both of them!

May 7th,2007 "Ivan" passes his CGC (AKC Canine Good Citizen Test)

May 18th, 2007 "Ivan" passes his NAVHDA Natural Ability test!

"Ivan" is my husband Bob's, favorite hunting buddy. His hunting skills continue to impress us, and Bob plans on doing more UKC field events with Ivan. He is a "fetching fool" at home,  and insists on carrying multiple objects in his mouth at one time, usually "singing" while he does so.

And he always keeps us amused.
