About Me

I have known Fluffy for several years now and been an admirer of her courage and foresight although at times I had a strange way of expressing it. When she first wrote and talked about her dream, something within me came alive because I could relate to the things she was talking about as a result of great childhood experiences and memories. For the longest time, I badgered her and was disbelieving, as much as I wanted to believe. In the beginning I don’t think she talked about also incorporating a B & B but that put the icing on the cake when that became part of the equation. Years ago I dated a girl who said when she retired from the financial world she wanted to do a Bed and Breakfast. (We had stayed at several run by a husband and wife team and they thoroughly enjoyed it.)

When Fluffy talks about an experience or describes a situation I can feel or sense most of what is going on right down to the joy of the hot cup of coffee or the comfort of the homemade soup or even the sadness of losing those piglets. Her struggles seam so poignant and so her advances are to be celebrated. With each passing experience I find myself wanting to be there or to be able to help with the problems.

The fact that she describes and tells us about her farm with marvellous words and great pictures is a blessing. It is too bad that each of her friends and family couldn’t drop off the odd fresh baked pie or a couple of hours of their time to fix or do something for the farm. The visit of her cousin the other day must have been a delight.

Keep the faith Fluffy, and I will ask the Creator and protector of your flock for good health and that they are fruitful.

Tell us about yourself please!

I am just a bystander but I am very inspired by the courage of this lady who has the conviction to live her dream.
