Extremely popular and used in many cover styles and calendars, it not only looks good but allows sheets to rotate 360 degrees without drop down.

Step by step diagrams to construct this increasingly popular style. Deceptively simple, this looks outstanding with the right balance of stock and proportions. Shown are examples that used contrast on the "strike" area.

Basically a side stitched book, the oversized back cover is stitched on top of the text and wrapped around the spine to the back, hiding the stitches. Options include a separate front cover or a cover that wraps completely around the book and hooks under the spine (as in a matchbook).
Guideline includes diagrams and scoring suggestions.
