An appeal: Reproduced below is a black and white image of 2236 in Altrincham in its early days (circa 1972, we think, as it was still allocated to Princess Road depot). If you took the photo, or know who did, or if you are the driver or a passenger, please get in touch!

10 Nov 2015: Ralph Bennett RIP
Ralph Bennett was the General Manager of Manchester Corporation Transport who was responsible for the introduction of the ‘Mancunian’ bus design to the City before later moving on to London Transport; he passed away on 10 November 2015.
