Some of the beautiful wildlife that we enjoy daily
I have spent all my life with ponies , showing / competing , breeding and working and was the yard manager at the Welsh College of Horticulture for several years , a job which I really loved and enjoyed . I am the past Chairperson for the N.P.S. area 27 which I held for 7 yrs , on the Welsh Pony and Cob Society 's Ridden and In-hand panel of Judges and am the Trophy secretary for the W.P.C.S Performance Awards . We are both NVQ Assessors .
People have asked me why I have ponies and horses ? what do I breed ponies for and why when it costs so much money ? All I can say is that throughout my life I have always had horses and ponies around me , they were there when I was lonely , they listened to me when no one else would , they were my friends , they were always there and never let me down , I enjoyed being around them , the ponies have brought me pleasure ,enjoyment , happiness and sometimes pain (when I have lost a dear friend and one that will live in my heart forever ). I don't breed ponies for profit or gain or just for the sake of having a foal far from it , I breed so that someone else can share in the moments that I have had , share in the success of children winning that first rosette with a pony that I have bred ,share in the love and devotion that they give all of us. The ponies have made me friends from all over the World who share this vision and I thank each and every one of them and none of which I will forget .
