Within the fore cabin are 3 berths, one V-berth and one upper to the starboard side of the yacht. Generous stowage below bunks to accommodate sleeping bags, small cases, etc. Small table. Full length hanging locker with light inside. Lockers on both sides of the cabin.

Aluminium framed translucent opening hatch and a vent provide ventilation and light.

Reading light for each bunk. Working light on the bulkhead. 12 V and 110v outlets.




Located by the fore cabin. Pressurised water, basin, marine pump type head and hand shower. Inside the door on the ceiling, there is a curtain rail of aluminium. Ceiling light. Storage behind and underneath of basins.

Finished in light laminate with an overhead hatch.



The "U"-shaped galley is larger than the standard N42 offering with:

  • Force 10 full-sized 3-burner propane stove with oven and broiler
  • Double stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water
  • Separate Frigoboat freezer and refrigerator with keel-cooled compressors
  • Foot-pumped fresh- and salt-water
  • Two Dorade vents 
  • Under-cabinet lighting
  • Oster stainless steel microwave
  • Spice cabinet
  • Solid surface counter tops
  • Wipeable splash backs
  • Cutting board inserts for sinks and stove      



Opposite the galley to starboard is a dinette.

 The dinette converts to a lee-clothed berth when at sea.



Up two steps is the pilot house deck saloon area. This is a large area providing vitually unimpaired 360 degree visibility. To port is a large settee and sliding dining table. The dining area can confortably seat six.

To starboard is the inside steering station with navigation table and full instrumentation. There is a large amount of stowage under and outboard of the nav station.

The VHF and SSB radios are located immediately aft of the steering station and are adjacent to the heated "wet" locker. 

Navigations and communications hardware installed:

  • ICOM IC-M502 VHF with remote mike
  • ICOM IC-M802 SSB with automatic tuner
  • Raymarine RL 70C 4Kw Radar
  • Raymarine ST6001 auto-pilot
  • RL70C Plotter
  • Raymarine ST60 depth, speed and wind indicators
  • Raymarine instrument repeaters at both steering stations

At the end of the wheelhouse there is a companion way to the owners' stateroom and companion way steps to the cockpit.


The pilothouse has “night illumination”

Lifestyle” equipment installed the pilothouse includes:


·          Panasonic TV/DVD

·          Panasonic AM/FM/CD player

·          Bose speakers

·          Clarion weatherproof speakers in cockpit



The stateroom has a double "peninsular" center-line berth. There is a significant amount of storage built into the aft stateroom. At the rear of the stateroom are two transom ports which give both light and a feeling of depth. Five opening ports and hatches provide light and ventilation.



“Lifestyle” equipment installed the aft cabin includes: 

·          Entertainment center with Sharp 20inch flat screen TV

·          Bose 3-2-1 audio system (CD/DVD/AM/FM) with simulated surround sound


The aft cabin has an ensuite with shower box, toilet and wash-basin.


The cabin soles are teak-and-holly with a complete set of snap-in-place carpets

Pilothouse is ventilated through alloy framed hatches and openable windows. Hatches also above the galley, dinette, fore cabin and forward toilet. Sliding hatch above the companionway from wheelhouse to the cockpit. Openable windows in aft cabin and aft toilet. Dorade vents with stainless steel shelters above galley, dinette and forward toilet.

All lockers have removable shelving and are convertible to "full hanging"

The pilot house is equipped with a 12000BTU reverse cycle A/C; the cabins each have a 12000BTU reverse cycle (heat/cool) A/C. A separate heating source is provided by a Webasto diesel heater.
