My name is Sue Jackson. I live in Caistor with my husband Mike. I have two children; Lee, 20 and Gemma, 18. We moved to Caistor at the end of April 2004 and both of my children previously attended Caistor Grammar School.
I am a qualified NNEB and previously have worked as the Nursery Nurse in the reception class at Scawby County Primary School for 13 years, a job I left to have my son Lee. I am also a trained youth worker and for several years was a warranted guider, running my own guide company in Broughton. For 7 years I then worked in a private day care nursery in Barton-upon-Humber, a job that I enjoyed very much.
For some time before this I had a strong desire to go into childminding and the move to Caistor was an ideal opportunity to realise my aim to work more closely with a smaller group of children in a more homely and welcoming setting. My aim is to offer a safe stimulating and above all enjoyable environment for the children that I care for.
We have a dog called Lacey. She is very soft and gentle and excellent around the children.
I offer full or part time childcare for children of all ages Monday to Friday 8.00am until 6.00pm but am willing to be flexible.
