The Top 100 Pitchers in MLB History

Negro League Pitchers

I used to rank N.L. pitchers with MLB pitchers, but everytime I would make a ranking, I would read a contradictory article claiming that one pitcher was far superior than another.  I was also unable to find any credible adjustment system which predicted how each N.L. pitcher would have likely performed in MLB.  Since it is impossible to know how they would have performed, I have decided to not include them in the MLB rankings.  I do, however, include Don Newcombe's N.L. contribution in his overall MLB ranking and Dolph Luque's Cuban league work as well.

I do feel it is necessary to pay respect to the great Negro League pitchers that did not have the opportunity to play in MLB.  I have attempted to rank the top 15 N.L. pitchers based on various polls and articles that I have read and experts I have spoken with.
