Christmas Update - 2015

Dear Members,

2015 has been an exceptionally good year for the club, with all the original unused TS100 parts having been saved and returned to the UK. There are at least two people who have expressed interest in taking over ownership of the parts, should Ronnie decide to part with them, so we must be patient to see what the future holds.

Sadly, only one item has ever appeared on the 'Forum Section' and my excuse is that I don't really understand how it would work! Having said that I am pleased to say that I have been in regular contact with some members by telephone and e-mail and that works well.

Tracing and identifying TS100's has become my passion, but requires patience. During 2015 two cars that were known to exist by their registration numbers have been traced and their owners are now club members. A further car has been identified and traced and the owner of that too has become a member. Unfortunately, the new owners of the three known cars in Belgium have yet to become members, but I am hopeful they will do so in the not too distant future.

There are clearly a few more cars out there somewhere, possibly locked up in garages, that are rarely if ever used and it would be nice to trace their owners and offer what club support we can. It is more than likely that they do not even realise that the club exists.

I do feel that it is important that the club records should be as full and up to date as possible, not only for the future of the marque, but also where members can share experiences and offer each other support when required.

Our annual club meeting will be held on Saturday 11th June 2016 at the usual venue, The Fighting Cocks Public House, Fordingbridge, Hampshire and I look forward to seeing you there if you can make it. The pub has a large car park, good food and there is accommodation very close nearby should you require it.

Thank you for your continued support and I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
