**** Due to a hosting problem in November of 2011, there are around 1,500 success pages that are no longer linking to the player scans.  I am having to manually re-code each of those pages so that the scans show up, so please bear with me because it's a job that I'm trying to work on in my free time.****

Update:  Hope everyone has had a good beginning to 2012.  I've been extra busy with work, coaching basketball, and getting up every morning at 3:30AM to workout.......but it's almost time for baseball season and that means things start slowing down for me...YES!  Spring Training is only two weeks away, can you believe that?  I'm getting my 2012 Topps cards ordered, a few rolls of stamps ready, and working on my SASE's.  Congratulations to the New York Giants on their Super Bowl victory last night.  I'm not a fan of the G-Men, but they definitely showed a lot of heart by turning their season around when things looks very dim, that's a life lesson to us all in that we should never give up.  Today's successes are combined from the last few weeks.

Update:   Harvey Meiselman is now currently taking pre-order for his 2012 Address Lists.  These are the BEST on the market and are a huge asset to any collector.  You can find information about them here.  Be sure to check out Paul's site, Pro Inspirations.  He has a lot of great content there, including his TTM successes and other sports memorabilia, and it's definitely worth adding to your favorites!  Also, if you're looking for another autograph related message board, check out this free site, Sweet Spot Graphs.  I'm a big fan of supporting the autograph collecting community and I enjoy being a part of different message boards that promote the hobby in a positive way.  My NFL requests are STILL rolling out at a steady flow.  By the time I'm done, I will have mailed out half of the 2011 Topps set as I'm really concentrating on current NFL players right now.  Also, there are around 20 Arizona Fall League baseball requests that have currently been sent.  Hope everyone has a November full of successes!!!

Update:  Been a solid week of sending out requests.  All totaled, I have mailed out 95 requests since Monday and still have a ton more to go.  So far the majority have been to current NFL players c/o of their teams, but I've mixed in some retired baseball, basketball, and football as well.  My 2011 Topps Heritage minor league cards should be here tomorrow (or maybe today as I haven't checked the mail yet), so I will have those heading out to the Arizona Fall League as well.  Stay tuned for success reports over the next few weeks and months as they should hopefully roll right into the annual Spring Training mass request mailout.  Graph on!

10/2/11

Update:  Thanks to those of you who e-mailed me requesting the R.A. Dickey card.  It has been given away, BUT I'll be contacting a few random people who requested it and asking for your address because I'm going to send you something as well!!  It's been a slow year for me sending out TTM requests, in fact, the slowest year since I began collecting.  A lot of personal priorities took a front seat to the hobby (family, job, life, etc.).  I made the mistake a few years ago of getting so wrapped up in sending out requests that I didn't devote enough time to other interests I had, so last year I decided to step back and manage my time a little better.  Having said that, I've discovered that I can juggle everything I have going and still be able to enjoy TTM and In-Person collecting, so it's time to get back in the game and start rolling out the requests on a more frequent basis.  Over the next month I'll be targeting top baseball prospects in the Arizona Fall League, many on the new 2011 Topps Heritage minor league baseball cards.  I'll also be sending to current NFL players and mixing in some retired basketball, baseball, and football player requests.  I'm also going to be making minor adjustments to the site and might be asking for suggestions or help on certain aspects from you guys.

I appreciate everyone who has continued to visit the site despite the lack of consistent updates lately.  I've made some great collecting friends in the hobby and being part of Sportscollectors.net and Sportsgraphing.com (where I serve as a moderator).  I always enjoy reading the e-mails you guys send on what kind of successes you're getting back or your in-person encounters with athletes.  That's why I got into this hobby and that's what makes me continue on.  I'm still like a kid on Christmas morning everytime I reach in my P.O. Box and pull out a SASE that has come back to me, "Who knew a trip to the mailbox could be so fun?"

Thanks again for your support and I hope all of your mailboxes are full of successes, graph on!

Update:  Been sick lately so today's successes are actually a combination of the previous few days.  Over the weekend I went to the Texas Rangers Fan Fest in Arlington, TX.  It was extremely chaotic as a record number of fans turned out for the newly redesigned event.  It wasn't a very productive couple of days for autographs because of the amt. of people there, but I managed to come away with:

Adrian Beltre - signed black Rawlings big stick bat in silver deco

CJ Wilson - (2) signed 8x10's and one signed 2010 World Series baseball

Fergie Jenkins - signed an 8x10 with HOF inscription

Gaylord Perry - signed a Rawlings official major league baseball and added HOF inscription

Because I wasn't feeling well, we decided not to attend the Sunday autograph session which included Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, Josh Hamilton and several others.  The line started well before 8AM for the 12 opening and the autograph bracelets only went to the first 200 for each athlete and you could not get more than one bracelet until after that player's session was over (Hamilton became a lottery drawing because so many people were there for him.)  I will not be attending this event again because it's simply not worth it from an autograph standpoint.

Al Edwards  (Signed a 1991 Topps in 466 days c/o Home)
