WE ARE SINNERS who have been washed by the blood of Christ upon water baptism (1 Cor 6:11). We have died to our old lives and now try our best to fashion our lives to meet the standard of God's Word (Gal 2:20, Rom 6:6). We understand that we can never be sinless, however, as we mature in our faith, we can sin less. Therefore, we emphasize studying the Scriptures daily so that we need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, (2 Tim 2:15) adding to our faith; virtue and to our virtue; knowledge and to our knowledge; temperance; and to our temperance; patience and to our patience; godliness and to our godliness; brotherly kindness and to our brotherly kindness; love (2 Peter 1:5-7) imitating our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We welcome all who realize that they have fallen short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23) and desire to live a better and more abundant life that can only be found in Christ (John 10:10).
