The History of Sheringham Primitive Methodists

To celebrate, in 2007,  the 200th. Anniversary of the founding of the Primitive Methodists, and of the Primitive Methodist church at Station Road Sheringham, Norfolk, we researched through many old church Minute books, and on the following pages are some of the interesting facts and items which we came across, as well as pictures from events at that church during the years.

On the last page, you will find pictures of the celebrations held on Sunday 12th. August 2007.  When our Minister, Revd. David East, exchanged his pulpit for preaching from a wagon on the church lawn of St. Andrew`s Methodist church, Sheringham, in the style of the Old Camp Meetings.
