Saint Gianna Beretta Molla (1922-1962) was an Italian wife, mother, and physician who sacrificed her own life so that her unborn child would live. She declined the medical procedure during the pregnancy and told her husband,"I renew the offering of my life to the Lord. I am ready for anything as long as my baby is saved." A few days after giving birth to baby Gianna Emanuela Molla, Saint Gianna died of multiple complications of the delivery. Saint Gianna was canonized on May 16, 2004 by Pope John Paul II. Saint Gianna is an inspirational pro-life modern day saint.
Tiny, sleepy Angel,
fresh from God, to God returned,
You are most beloved, on Earth and heaven:
Awaken now to joy.
-B. Milleson James
March 14th, two years ago, Jim held Remi for the first time. She was a month and a half of age and it was the most amazing birthday gift he could have received. Jim beamed with joy, pride and love as he held his little twin our precious "bella".
Wishing my husband, the best daddy in the world, a happy birthday. We love and miss you and can't wait until you come home.
