About the band
"Raeth" Means Sand according to hindi/urdu or Shfting Sands according to the Pakistani Band "Raeth" itself. this band is basically from the city of Karachi, Pakistan and has released album in India following Bands like Jal, Strings and others.
Popular opinion has it that Pakistani pop band Raeth’s music sounds too mature for their band members’ tender ages: Farabi (18), Mustafa (19) and Wajhi (21). Fact is that they are considered to be the youngest upcoming band by the music distribution company, Universal India, this year, which recognises them for their catchy yet somber tracks. “Beyond our wildest dreams, we made it there (India) and were aired simultaneously on rival channels, MTV India and Channel [V], in the same month,” says Mustafa, the ex-bassist.
