Thanksgiving Pack Meeting and Pot Luck is Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall. Please join us as we kick off the holiday season by coming together for a meal. Please bring a dish to share capable of feeding 6. Last names M-Z please bring a side dish or dessert. A-L a main dish.


Pack T-Shirts are in. We ordered more shirts and they will be available at Pack meeting for $10. These make great Christmas presents. Get yours now.

Popcorn is done and you did great! Pick up will be Saturday, Nov. 18th at the church. Time TBA as we are still not sure when we can pick up the product from the distribution point. You will be notified of when to come to the church for pick up. Please keep this in mind for the 18th. For our totals, well, you need to come to Pack meeting where Becca will announce them!


Lompoc Children’s Christmas Parade is Friday, Dec. 1st. We are entered and will be decorating our entry in the afternoon. More details soon but plan on having your Scout there. Lions/Tigers will ride on the trailer and others will ride as room is available. The rest will walk. The route begins at Pine and H St. and ends at Ocean and I St.. It’s an easy walk and it’s lots of fun. Parents are welcome to walk along with us. If not, you will need to sign your Scout in at the beginning of the parade and be there waiting for them at the end.


Recharter Time is here. This is where we renew our memberships for 2017. To do this, we need to collect the BSA membership fees. Those are $24 for membership and another $12 if you wish to subscribe to Boys Life magazine. Please bring payment to the Nov. Pack meeting if at all possible and checks should be made out to Pack 2103. If there is a financial need, please talk to Cubmaster Paul Ladwig or Pack Committee Chair Heather Shields.


Youth Protection Training: All leaders have to have current training in 2016. Also, any interested parents are encouraged to take it too. This lays out our BSA requirements to insure protection of our youth and our leaders. To take the training, go to the BSA national web site. Click on training and follow the prompts. It takes about 20 minutes and is great information.


Help Needed: Our Pack committee needs some members. They do things like decorate for dinners, set up our Christmas parade float, organize our Blue and Gold evening, help set up Pinewood Derby and more. Not a weekly commitment. Just an event here and there. If you would consider jumping in, we have a monthly meeting to work out the details. Please contact committee chair Heather Shields at 717-0102.
