Self Defence Classes

THE ACADEMY OFFERS SELF-DEFENCE COURSES TO EVERYONE (MEN & WOMEN) WHO ARE KEEN TO LEARN SELF DEFENCE AND PERSONAL SAFETY AWARENESS.

THE ACADEMY ALSO OFFERS COURSES SPECIALLY TAILORED FOR WOMEN OF ALL AGES WITH A FEMALE INSTRUCTOR. THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL WOMEN. DAYTIME OR EVENING CLASSES AVAILABLE.

Academy Opportunities

The North West Budo Academy offers (traditional) multistyle martial arts for all ages, boys and girls, aged 5 to 18 years and adults 18 and over. These martial arts include Shotokan Karate, Ju-jitsu, Kobudo and Atemi Jutsu. The academy also offers Tai-Chi, Qi-Qong Relaxation Therapy, Junior and adult coaching awards and full first aid training.

Academy Mission

The North West Budo Academys mission is to promote the traditional values of martial arts and to pass on the knowledge and virtues to all prospective martial artists.

Academy Rewards

The academy tries to vary whats on offer with regular courses with international guest instructors looking into different martial art styles such as Shito Ryu Karate, Gojo Ryu Karate, Aki Ju-Jitsu, Kung-Fu and much more. Junior students can earn merit awards for good practice and etiquette.
