Salute 2016 Pictures

Went to Salute 2016 yesterday. My first visit since 2014 and the first time I had taken a camera. I managed to get about 50 snaps before shopping bags got in the way!

I arrived about 10:15 and went straight in. Got slightly thrown by entering through a different entrance - so used to seeing Hasslefree Miniatures on the left hand side. Salute seemed more spacious than previous years and there seemed to be a lot of traders that I had never encountered before. All in all, it's good to be back! :)

Justice Dept Rapid Response Unit

Sometimes, Judges on patrol need urgent assistance.  To provide such assistance the Justice Dpet has funded the creation of the Rapid Resonse Unit (RRU).

Based on existing hover car technology. The RRU is armoured and armed with 12 Stumm gas missiles and a rotary cannon that fires the same range of ammunition found in a standard Lawgiver.

Expect to see the RRU in your Citiblock soon!!!

Isla del Blanco TV Station.

Went to a Toy Fair at the weekend. It was mainly railway orientated (not unusual given it was at the Bluebell Railway), but every now and them you find something useful for wargaming.

At the very last stall I went to, I found this.

Was marked up for £10, but I managed to get it for £8. Think the seller was keen to get rid of it as it was O gauge.

Seen here with a couple of Foundry figures, the TV Station needs a repaint before transmission commences!!!
