Hair Recipes

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil

KIMMAYTUBE'S LEAVE-IN - better for wash n go style- This recipe is the absolute best for smoothing the hair cuticle and for defined styles.

2 tablespoons Kinky Curly Knot Today, 2 tablespoons Aloe Vera Juice, 2 teaspoons castor oil (optional), 2 teaspoons jojoba oil

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Jojoba Oil

MY OWN LEAVE-IN MIXTURE #3 - Currently using only

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil

Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin

Mango Butter and Shea Butter.  I use more mango butter than shea butter.  This makes my twists extremely soft.  The mango is magical.  LOL

I really love my CURLS Whipped Cream but it is just so thick, so tonight (7-6-2011) I am going to try mixing it with my Aloe Vera Juice and Avocado Oil.  I know aloe vera juice is an ingredient in it already, I'm going to add more to thin it out some.  And I don't think it will hurt to add some oil.  If not avocado oil, then jojoba oil.  I'll report back tomorrow.

Ok, so I finally tried the CURLS Whipped Cream styling mixture.  I took CURLS Whipped Cream, Aloe Vera Juice, Avocado Oil, and Jojoba Oil.  I wanted to dilute the whipped cream some because it was so thick, and I must say I'm pleased with the results.  Don't get me wrong, there are times when I use it thick, but then at times when I don't feel like it being so heavy, I'll dilute it.  Anyway, the results are great so this will be a keeper.  I think I'm going to try using the whipped cream by itself to see what kind of results I get.
