This was the first operation from N1LI. The feedlines and control cables only made it as far as the entry into the house (basement) by this weekend. The shack was being wallpapered and none of the cables were run that far anyway. So K1DG set up shop in the chilly basement with a barefoot IC756 Pro3 sitting on a couple of sawhorses, and operated the September CW Sprint. No computer logging. No amplifier. No rotator. No coax switch. No headphones. Everything sent manually using the built-in keyer.
But it was enough to set new records for both low power and high power for Maine. A good start, I guess.
