The Montgomery County History Center is located in Red Oak Iowa, just north of US Highway 34.

Scheduled Hours are:

 12:00 noon - 4:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Monday

Special events and scheduled tours can be held by appointment or request.

General Admission 

 $3.00 per Adult

and

$2.00 per Child

Group rates available

Members are always free!!

                    Memberships

Memberships are a great way to enjoy the benefits of our historical society.  We offer six levels of membership:

$10.00 - Individual

$25.00 - Family

$50.00 - Patron

$100.00 - Sustaining

$250.00 - Mentor

$500.00 - Benefactor

All memberships receive a 10% discount at our "Wild Prairie Rose Gift Shop", and all members are admitted to the McKenzie Memorial Library, exhibit galleries, and historical buildings without charge - as many times per year as they wish.  Some membership levels also receive a free room rental with their membership.   Members also receive a newsletter.
