Each figure also has 4 versions of the hammer saved as smart props with the 4 different MAT poses already applied. In the Materials folder (poser 5 and later) you will find materails to mix and match to customize the hammer further.

For Poser 6 and later you will find MT6 Mat Poses in the materials folder also.

This set is for Poser Pro or later.

Sydney the Poser 7 Woman - Dynamic Outfits

Sydney_Mapps_DynamicCloth.zip

This zip contains 6 Dynamic Cloths for Poser 7 Sydney, 6 UV Maps for the Shirts and textures and Material Room sets for appling the textures to the different material groups.

When using these shirts simply load and apply the pose, when setting up the simulation set draping to Zero (0) as these items have all been draped for Sydney in the zero pose. So you must also set the simulation to start in the zero pose.

Most of my dynamic poses use only 5 frames from the zero pose, so you should be able ot get away with a 5 frame aninmation making these items fairly fast to use since you only need to wait while the computer caculates 5 frames.

Jessi Second Skin Textures

Mapps_Jessi_Jumpers.zip

In this zip you will find 3 photoshop texture layers and 1 base file for use on Jessi Skin Textures.
These 2000 x 2000 pixel textures are intended to be used on a Jessi texture of that size or you can go into the Picture size and change the pixel size to match any jessi Texture you intend to use. You cna rescale these to from 3000 x3000 to 1000 x 1000 without any major problems.
Simply match the pixel size of the Jessi texture you want to use and copy and paste the Skin Texture into the Suit textue. Flatten the texture and save it with a new name. Your texture is ready to use.

Load Jessi in poser and then apply the Pose for the texture you used (if it has one) and then go to the material room, select the material body and laod the new texture to replace the existing body texture.

Please keep in mind when adding it to a existing texture be sure to check if you are allowed to do that. As for this texture have fun, if you are making a Jessi texture for the free section and want to add these to the set feel free to do so. But please send me a Emil to let me know you are doing so. That way I can be sure to grab a copy :-)

Skin Textures

Mapps_Uni-Gals.zip
This zip contains 3 Skin textures (Hellen, Monica & Shulk), Mat Poses for the Textures, 6 Gloss settings and 5 Tone settings. The 3 Skin Textures and 5 Skin Tones can be used to create 15 different Skin Colours.

Hellen is fair Skined and works best as the texture to use the Skin Tones with.
Monica is darker skined and also works well with The Skin Tones.
Shulk is Green and when combined with the 5 Skin Tones gives more Alien Colours, Some combinations can be too dark to make out details clearly unless you are using a strong source of lighting.

The 6 Gloss Poses and 5 Tone Poses must be applied after applying the Texture. These Mat Values can be used with any Body Texture not just the ones included in this set.

21 More Aiko3 Head Morphs

Aiko3_Morphs3.zip

This zip contains 17 new custom face shaping morphs for Aiko3 and 4 custom heads. These morphs were created using magnets and do not require the Aiko morph injectors. As a result they will work with any verson of Aiko including the free "Aiko Base".

These morphs were made by me (using magnets) and may be used in anyway you like including putting them into a market project, but not a market project that revolves around selling these morphs. In otherwords feel free to make custom characters using these morphs and then include them with a market project as-long-as the project includes other things such as textures or cloths. The morphs may not be the main focus of the product. When doing this I suggest applying the morphs and then saving them as a expression and include the expression and original morphs with it. The 7 finished characters amy also be included in this way Alien, Annie, Celine, Debi, Jassara, Mara, Marry-Shelly, Ranie, Sherry, Tarra & Yalissa (Annie, Celine & Tarra are in the first set & Debi, Jassara, Mara, Ranie, & Tarra are from the second set).

mdbruffy's first freebie

Sonja's Armour- Final.zip

Hello and thank you for downloading this file. This is the first project I ever set out to do for public release, so please forgive me if there's a few rough edges. I began working with computer images almost a year ago starting out with Poser 5. In that time, I've downloaded alot of material- most of it free. This is my first attempt to pay back some of that enormous kindness as well as all the help and advice I asked for and received. The Poser community has been very patient with my questions, as well as my frustrations and I hope this will serve as the start of a never-ending "Thank you".
 Now then, where were we?
Oh, yeah....

You MUST have the following items already in your system for this project to work:
Victoria 3
RT Productions Mike's Multi Gloves
MB Just Peachy character texture for Victoria 3
Standard conforming clothing library for the P-5 female
Somekind of long flowing red hair.( I'll explain this later)
Mapps 268 free materials (available at Renderosity, not actualy required the full information for the mats is embedded in the files.)

Lightsaber prop and Denum Bodyglove

Mapps_Saber_&_Denum.zip

In this zip you will find a Lightsaber preparrented for A3, M3 and V3. The one for A3 will also work for the Girl and most of the DAZ "Toon" Gals. The one for M3 will work for David, M1, M2 and The freak (will need to move up and out slightly for Freak). The one for V3 will work for Steph, V1 and V2.

Also you will find the hand poses for the characters to hold it. If you are applying a standard pose to the character apply the hand pose after the body pose.

Second you will find 2 mat poses for a Denum Bodyglove, this will work on all of the DAZ Unimesh characters. M3, V3, A3, freak, David, Girl, etc. Use either the V3-M3 pose (for most of the realistic characters) or the A3 Pose (most of the Toonish characters) if the V3-M3 leaves bare spots then the A3 is the right one.

The texture was made sticking my realy old beatup Jean Jacket in my scanner and scanning different sections of it :-) Hope you enjoy the Tex.

Dynamic Cloths Set 1A

Mapps_Dynamic_Cloth1A.zip

This set is 1A because it requires the textures from set 1. Set 1 is also free and in my downloads on my site and at Renderosity in the free section.

In this zip you will find 2 Dynamic Outfits for The Demonoid, 2 Dynamic Outfits for Mike 3, 3 for vicky 3 and 3 for Aiko 3. In all cases itmes of the same name are the same model with the same UV Map. So, Shirt1_A3, Shirt2_V3 and Shirt2_M3 are all the same model and all use the same UV Map. To keep it strait I called the some of the Outfits for M3 "Dress" though they have been modified to Robes or Shirts. The whole dress name is just to allow you to match things up.

If you are using the pants (in set 1) and a shirt you need to run the pants animation first and make sure under "Collide with" that the shirt is not selected (it's grouped to the chest). The easiest way to do this is to load the pants and run the first simulation. Then load the Shirt and sellect colide with the entire character the pants will automatily be added as a smart prop and the shirt will be ignored for the pants because it is not ever there. This way when you run the shirt animation it will be effected by the folds created in the pants and line up properly.

When using the Jumpsuit (oe the pants from set 1) avoid using "Drape" as the crotch will droop down further. I have been using them with drape set to 0 on all of the items and I find they don't need it. So this will save you some time too since you can skip the drape frames part.

I have found that starting in the zero pose (that is what the cloths are set for) and using 8 frames to get to the pose you want seems to work well every time. Using 5 frames often caused bad creases and more then 8 seemed to be a waste of time.
Another time saver is set your display to "as outlines or wire frame" I found the animation ran as-much-as 4 times faster if it didn't need to create a preview too. On average my P4 2ghz would do the 8 frame animation in 3-10 minutes. Depending on how extreme the pose was.

Ther is 1 new texture included it is a light off white colour so you can chane the colour of it by adding a base colour.

Alternate Lightsabe Colours (P5 Mats)

Mapps_Saber_mats.zip

In this zip you will find Several new Materials for poser 5 and 6 to change the colours of the lightsaber blade. The can also be used for many other things like forcefiels or what ever.

The colours are named as such Blade1_In and Blade1_Out. These refer to the Inner and outer Blades.

The Saber colours are poser 6 material groups and will colour the entire prop. If you want handle 5 and blade 2, apply Saber5 first and then Blade2 (both parts of blade2).

Aiko 3 Conforming Shirt

Mapps_Aiko3_Shirt1.zip

In this zip you will find 1 conforming clothing item. I am quite new to the whole confoming cloths creation thing, so feel free to IM me at Renderosity or send an email with any comments (good or bad) you may have. I have also created several Dynamic items that have been quite popular and these conforming items are the same items coverted into conforms. If you alos have the Dynamic set and have an item you would like to see as a conform also please feel free to ask for it. The catsuits (jumpers) from that set I have been playing with but have not had 100% success (more like 80%) so those will likely be a while comming. Also feel free to request items for your favourite character. Right now I am consentrating on M3, V3 and Aiko3. But will do other characters if Requested. The V2Shirt1 was such a request.

Vicky 2 Conforming Shirt

Longjohn's Unimesh Body Glove (V3, M3, A3, Freak, The Girl, etc)

Mapps_Longjohns.zip

In this zip you will find 1 texture and 1 bumpmap for use on Unimesh characters. Inclded aswell you will find the Pose Mats for poser 4+ to apply them to the characters. use the "Mat_Glove-A3-T" mat for toonish characters (Aiko, The Girl, etc) and The "Mat_Glove-V3&M3-T" for the more realistic characters M3, V3 freak etc.

Mapps Dynamic Clothing Set 2M

Mapps_Dynami_Cloths2M.zip

In this zip you will find several outfits for the characters listed above. Outfits with matching names use the same UV Maps such as M3_Cape and Demonoid_Cape (Maps posted as seperate download). The exception to this is the Tabbard which required a different base model to allow for the Demonoids tail. If there is no matching item for the charater it is because I didn't make one.

TXR7 Heavy Fighter

Mapps_TXR7.zip

In this zip you will find 1 custom character and 2 pose files. The Smart props for the fighter are preloaded on the fighter. if you wish to save them to the props library please feel free to do so, just remember to choose the option "smart". I didn't save them seperate as this increased the size of the Download and they are more useful preloaded. Simply load the fighter and delete the weapons you don't want.

Aiko3 Head Morph Maker (Includes TUT)

Mapps_A3_HeadMags.zip

In this zip you will find a set of magnets to deform Aiko3's head to make your own morphs. I know magnets seem complicated at first but I have made every effort to make these easy to work with.

When you load the Aiko Character make sure that Limits are turned on.

See "Mags_1.jpg" inclued in this zip with this read me to see where to find this option.

This will ensure that you can not move the magnet too far so that your morphs will be more realistic. Once you get the hang of it and how they work feel free to turn limits off to make more extreme morphs. If you realy haven't used magnets before or have tried them and found them fustrating it is likely because you were moving them too far or couldn't figure out which dial to use to get the effect you wanted. Hopefully I have eliminated both of these problems by marking the effect and setting the limits. You should find these quite easy to use. Some of teh dials are labeled "Do not use" pretty simple, don't use them they will cause deforms that are not realy usable, such as shoving the head off to the side or twisting the head into a spiral, not very realistic.

You won't find dials that read y-tran or z-rotate. They have all been remnamed like morphs to match their effect on Aiko. you will find dials marked, Nose_Longer_Shorter or Brow_Fuller_Thinner.

See "Mags_2.jpg" inclued in this zip with this read me to see how the dials have been changed to have morph names.

Once you have applied the mags and played with them to make the morph you want you can make it a perminate morph with the click of a button (Poser 5 and 6, not sure about poer Pro, I've never used Pro but I belive it is the same). make sure you have Aiko Head selected and not the magent and choose in the Drag Downs "Object-Spawn Morph Target". It will promp you for a name and then it will add it to the list of morphs as a nromal morph. Set the Magnet values back to 100% or zero (some are percentages and others are numbers it is easy to tell the difference since the percentage ones are marked with a % after the number). Then try out the morph, if you don't reset the magnets values to zero first you will be applying the morph and magent so it will look all messed up.

See "Mags_3.jpg" inclued in this zip with this read me to see where to find "Spawn Morph Target".

NOTE: When using the Brow magnets remember to mirror your values if they effect left and right. Bringing the brow forward or pushing it back is the same on both, but twisting it is left to right is not. If on the left magnet the value is +10 then on the right Magnet it should be -10. It should be pretty easy to see when you need to use opposite values. If you apply it and they don't look the same...use the oppisite value. It is best if you work with both magents at the same time (untill you get the hang of them) and apply first to one and then to the other. This will help to show when they need to be opposite values since the when you apply the same value to the second mag, it looks the same or different. Same is good, different means you need to use the opposite value (+ instead of - or vice versa).

You will find that the "Mag base" and the "Mag Zones" do not have the names of the dials changed, treat them as "Do not use" items they should be left where they are with no values changed. The only exception to this is the Nose Mag Zone (the white circle on the screen that appears when you selcet the Nose Magnet), it does have limits set and dials marked this is so you can move the zone to effect the entire nose or just the bridge or just the tip of the nose. The dails are marked so you can tell what will be effected if you change the values and once again thelimits are set so you won'tmove them too far.

Conforming Jumper and Dress for Aiko3

Mapps_A3Jumper&Dress.zip

In this zip you will find 3 conforming clothing items. I am quite new to the whole confoming cloths creation thing, so feel free to IM me at Renderosity or send an email with any comments (good or bad) you may have. I have also created several Dynamic items that have been quite popular and these conforming items are the same items coverted into conforms. If you also have the Dynamic set and have an item you would like to see as a conform also please feel free to ask for it.

The catsuits (jumpers) are not a had 100% success (more like 80%). The Elbows get spikes if the shoulders bend too far.

Conforming Bodysuit for Michael 3

Mapps_M3_BodySuit.zip

This zip contains 3 versions of my jumpsuit for M3, the first uses just poser colours and can be loaded into any version of poser that supports conforms (so version 2 or later I think). The second has the texture and jpg format bump applied to it. The 3rd is for poser 4 users load the "M3_Jump_P4" suit and then apply the bump converting it to bum format. There is only a couple of material groups so this won't take very long or use it with just the texture and no bump.

You will find a copy of the UV map in the textures folder aswell should you wish to make your own textures for it.

There is 1 item of caution, the groin will pull funny if the left and right buttocks are moved too far to the sides. otherwise I have found no problems with it.

Mapps Webs

Mapps_Webs_Freebie.zip

6 Different web props for poser.

10 Dynamic Clothing items for the Freak

Mapps_Freak_Cloths.zip

IMPORTANT TIPS:

The belt is just a smart prop the Gi/Robes are open all the way down the front. If the belt is placed in the first frame at say 150% and then reduced to 110% in the final frame you get a open robe. To tighten it up start at say 115% and finish at 110%. I then reduce the belt to 105 to 100% before rendering. Keeping the belt a bit loose prevents the robe from bunching up and renders faster since the verts are not conflicting.

A quick dynamic tip, All dynamic cloths can use all the morphs of the character you use it on, if you didn't know that. I use a 8 frame animation to set my poses. Frame 1 is always the character "as is" (no morphs) in frame 1, in frame 8 the character has the pose I want and any morphs I want. The simulation will pose the cloth and add the morps. Any morph that makes the character smaller may not work very well, but things like Heavy or Bigger Chest will work fine in most cases.

I have been using this set with drape set to 0 on all of the items and this is because the items have already been draped. So this will save you some time too since you can skip the drape frames part. I have found that starting in the zero pose (that is what the cloths are made for) and using 8 frames to get to the pose you want seems to work well every time. Using 5 frames often caused bad creases and more then 8 seemed to be a waste of time. Another time saver is set your display to "as outlines" I found the animation ran as much as 4 to 8 times faster if it didn't need to create a preview for each frame too. On average my P4 2ghz would do the 8 frame animation in 3-10 minutes. Depending on how extreme the pose was.

The textures included are made by sticking cloths or material in the scanner (my cat secretly hopes I never make a texture for the Zygote Cat...lol). I use under-colours to change the colour of the texture without changing the Texture or bump.

Portable Pot - Posable Character

Mapps_PortaPot.zip
This zip contains 3 portable pots in different colour schemes and 12 textures to create those colour schemes. The textures can be mixed and matched, the roof for example uses the "Sq" textures so "Bucket_SQTex_Beige1.jpg", "Bucket_SQTex_Blue1.jpg" and "Bucket_SQTex_Grey1.jpg" can all be used on the roof. There is a Beige, Blue and Grey for each texture so you can make a large number of combinations, for this reason I did not make mat poses since each material group would need 3 poses for a total of 72 different mats.
