Pentagrams

Mapps_Pentagrams.zip

This zip contains 1 pz3 file, with sample props loaded and placed. 3 textures, 2 treans maps 1 Texture. It is scaled to match the poser ground. There are 5 Rings (torrus), 5 Stars, 1 Glass Plane and 4 Trans Planes. To create a pentagram load 1 torrus, 1 star and 1 TransPlane (if desired). All itmes will load inplace with each other Use the Hierachy to group the 2 or 3 items. I recomend grouping to the torrus. The items load floating on the ground plane (half above and half below). To stand it up rotate the torrus 90 degrees on the x axis and hit Control+G to set it on the ground. :-) Enjoy and have fun. Mapps

Not if you export the items and Re import them it will weld them together, you can do this to turn them into earrings and neclaces.

Warves, Walks and Bridges

This zip contains Several textures, 1 Sectional Wharf, 2 Sectional foot Bridges and 8 Sectional Walkways. All the walkwaysare saved 2 ways, one with texture maps and the other using simple colours or mats. All the items are scalled to character scale and load centred, you can create long walkways by loading items from the smae set. The wharf joins with itsself, lad 2 and move the second back till it is just touching the first and double its lenght the arched walkways can be combined to form large expanses including intersections but no "off Ramps" (might make some of those later). the low bridge and foot bridge can be combined together to form a bridge you can pass under. Trees & Stump

This zip contains 10 poser props. 9 trees, 1 hollow stump and 2 textures. most are 1-5 meg so you shouldn't have too much trouble if you lod a few of them. older machiens will slow down some but if you use any of the Mil 3 characters (Mike or Victoria) you should not have any problem with 5-8 trees in the same render as the file size will be about the same as a Mil 3 character. :-)

First I would like to thank SVDL, a fellow contributer at Renderosity. He has been so kind as to host the file for download. Due to the size of the file if I hosted it the first 50 people to get here would get a copy and then my bandwith would be toast for a month. Thanks again SVDL with out you this download would not be possable.

For a better look at this huge set check out Landscapes & Sets2 and My Renderosity Gallery If a figure was in the homepage render it would be less than 1/8" tall placed at 100%...the set is tat large. The render was done using a focus of 35 mm and the camera was pulled back to z axis -600 to see the whole set.

This zip contains 1 pz3 file, with all props loaded and placed. Man I could do a read me 9 miles long for this one...lol

OK first there are 2 Lynn's Points - The First is a single file with a sandy beach, this is for distant renders or shrink the prop to 10-15% and use for up close beach shots. The Water is Smart proped to the land so it will shrink with it. The second is High-res used for just about anything. It looks good at a distance and it looks good close up, it consists of 9 Land Props load "LP05" first it is the one in the center and all the other 8 are smartproped to it. Each of the 9 land sections use a 3000x3000 texture and can be used by them selves.

The Lighthouse prop has the Lighhouse base and sign smartproped to it. For the Lighthouse character load it and then load the 2 smart props, they will need to be parrented to the character before the light house is moved. The lighthouse is the "hip" and the light is the "head" rotate the "head" to rotate the lights. The lights will load whith the lighthouse character but most of the time loose their "parenting" use the Heiarchy window, with "show Lights" turned on and drag and drop the lights back to the Lighthouse "head". This zip contains 2 lawn props for the Celtic Garden Set and matching textures, for my and SpiceBunny's markets. The Celtic Garden is not required for these props.

Old Town Yard Items

I have began work on an old rustic town. These "Yard Items" are the first of the set. I am hoping to make 12-15 houses, a few gardens, a brook and many more yard items. Some of these will be Market Items and some will be freebies. The more complicated houses will be market items.

This zip contains a "Wheeled Barrel" (prop), a butter churn (prop) and a Outhouse/Shed (Character). In characters you will find the Outhouse and Shed. They are the same character but the "privy" part is set to be invisable in the shed. The only moving part is the door. If use limits is turned on the door can be opened and closed by pulling on it. If use limits is turned off youe the "Open" dial and turn it form zero to -100, positive numbers will pull the hinges appart and more than -100 can cause problems too. Textures and UV Maps are also included.

The Outhouse is textured using photos shot by Yesitis3. Look for my of his work to be hosted on my site.

Sky Backgrounds by Yesitis3

Included in this zip are 3 Sky back grounds shot by Yesitis3. I (mapps) have done a little photo editing in the area of colour tint and contrast. The images are otherwise as shot. Look for more textures and backgrounds by Yesitis3 to be hosted on my site.

Garden Flowers

I have began work on an old rustic town. These flowers are part of this set. They are to be used for creating gardens in the yards. of course you can use them in any manor you see fit.

This zip contains the following models; 5 bushes, 4 flowering shrubs and 4 flower tops. Textures included are; 4 different flowers and trans maps, 6 different leaves and trans maps, 1 stem texture and templates for maiking more flowers and leaves.

All 6 leaf textures an be used on all 9 shrubs the flower textures can be used on all 8 flower models so feel free to mix and match for greater viriaty. The Flower "cups" are all set to use the same texture for all cups. Flower 1 has 1 cup, Flower 2 has 2 cups, flower 3 has 3 cups & flower 4 has 1 cup. the Flower bushes of the same number match the cups listed. Eg. Flowers_03.pp2 has 3 cups on the flowers. Each extra cup is rotated 45 degrees + or - on the UV maps so that it gives the appearance of lots of petals See Samples images 1, 2, 3 & 4 included in the zip. Sample 4 is made by using 2 of the 3 cup flowers to gice 6 cups. I find this works best if you scale X & Z only You may also want to rotate the second group 180 degrees on the Y axis just to keep the pettals staggered.

I have kept the polygon count low on the plants on purpose so that many of them can be used in the same render. I can get about 50 of them in a render and the only part that takes come time is the calculation of shadows. The actual render it's self goes quite quickly. I find the flowes and plants look best if you scale them from 50% to 100% rotated at odd angles on the Y axis when using lots of them. This gives the apperarance that they are all different.

I do hope you enjoy these flowers as much as I did creating them.

Abandoned Mine

This zip contains 1 pz3 file, with all props loaded and placed. There are 8 props and 6 textures. The props are set to load in the position they are in the set, use the infor pallet to set the x-y-z coordinates to 0 to bring it back to centre.

Flowers 2

This zip contains the following models; 3 flowering shrubs and 4 grass models. Textures included are; 3 different flowers and trans maps, 1 leaf and trans maps, 1 stem texture, 1 Grass Tex & Trans and templates for maiking more flowers and leaves.

The 3 of the grass models have a number after it such as Grass1215, the number is how many blades of drass are in the model. so Grass1215 has 1215 blades of grass in it. The first model Grass has a morph to make it sway back an forth.

Note a Materials set has been included in this zip for poser 5 users. it allows you to quickly swith which flower and leaf a model is using. It includes settings for the textures from the first post but not hte the textures. You will need to download the first flower set in the Renderosity freesection to have Flowers 1 to 4 and leaves 1 to 6.

Funky Stairs

This zip contains the following; 2 pp2 files of my Funky Stairs, one is with textures and the other is without. There are 3 textures included in this file for the textured version. The model is set to load in the centre of the groundplane at scale sith the poser figures. Have fun :-)
