All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
Or anything they got.

Listen to the bass, it's the one on the bottom
Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamus
Moans and groans with a big to-do
The old cow just goes MOOOOO

The dog and the cat pick up the middle
While the honey bee hums and the cricket fiddles
The donkey brays and the pony neighs
And the old coyote howls

All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
Or anything they got.

Listen to the top where the little birds sing
On the melody with the high note ringing
The hoot owl hollars over everything
And the jaybird disagrees

Singin' in the night-time, singin' in the day
Little duck quacks, and he's on his way
The possum ain't got much to say
And the porcupine talks to himself

All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
Or anything they got.

It's a simple song of livin' sung everywhere
By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear
Grumpy alligator and the hawks above
Sly raccoon and the turtle dove.

All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
Or anything they got.

~Craft Projects~

Make an ark

Cut out two large boat shapes and punch holes

around sides and bottom.

With shoe laces or yarn (ends previously dipped in glue

and dried or wrapped tightly with tape)

lace the two boat pieces together.

Make a rainbow shape for the top to fit on like a handle.

Let the children color with watercolors, markers or crayons.

Staple or glue (or both) to the top of the ark.

Fill with animal crackers.

Doves and Olive Branches Game

Use paper olive branches or leaves.

Hide them throughout the play area.

 Designate one child as Noah.

The rest of the children are doves.

Noah says "Fly away and bring me a branch"

The children scatter and look for the branches.

When they find one they return with the branches.

Designate a new Noah who can hide the branches

and repeat the game.

Ark Picture

Give each child a precut ark shape

made from sandpaper or corrugated cardboard.

They glue these on to another paper.

They can draw, paint or glue

blue paper on for water, if desired.

 Use animal crackers for animals,

these can be glued on.

Then add cotton balls for clouds,

Q-tip painting for rain, etc...

Make Wooden Ark

Take popsicles and lay them out onto a table

and log cabin style of stacking form a boat.

Keep adding layers until aprox. 3 inches- 4 inches tall.

Break 8 sticks in half or snip them with huge pliers

and for the top portion of the ark.

I used Tacky glue and wood glue.

School glues does not hold the wood as well.

Give the kidss several days

to work on it!
