On June 28, 2018 at 4:30PM, my home daycare will close its doors.
It has been a wonderful 11 years and I am ever grateful for the opportunity to have been able to stay home with my children.
Being a part of all the families who have come and gone through my care has been a blessing.
I will truly miss my little friends but never will they be forgotten.
I love children. Watching the world through their eyes is a joy. I consider it an honour and a blessing to work with them each day.
With over 10 years experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard, I have always enjoyed teaching and interacting with children of all ages.
I maintain a current CPR & First Aid.
My husband and I have clean Police and Family & Children Services checks.
I am mother of a girl (2006) and a boy (2008).
I participate in the Kitchener-Waterloo Home Childcare Providers Network (HCPN) as well as Region of Waterloo training opportunities. This allows me to network with other child care providers and receive regular professional development.
As of September 2016 I am enrolled in Conestoga College's Child Development Apprenticeship Program where I will earn my Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation.
Elizabeth's Home Daycare was established in August 2007.
As of June 2016 I hold a home childcare license with the Region of Waterloo.
The daycare is set in a detached home on a quiet court with a fenced backyard. We are outside at least once per day.
The daycare is run on the main floor of the home.
Toys are rotated on a regular basis to keep learning fun and ever-changing.
The group attends regular play dates, park visits and community programs by foot or in my 2013 Grand Caravan. Appropriate car seats are provided.
For safety reasons, only current clients will be informed of the specific programming.
**NEW** Clients will be invited to join our Facebook group where I will update you daily on what we did and share photos of your children throughout the day!!
