Joe Tyler, a Kansas City comedian, got his start in entertainment when he embarked on a seven-year career in radio. He left his hometown of Minneapolis and bounced around the Midwest working at every format from Top 40 to classic country and had some of the highest rated day-parts with his show "The Joe Tyler Experience". Tired of playing second fiddle to the music and commercials, one night Joe played a commercial for a comedy club that mentioned their open mic night and realized a comedy stage was a better outlet for what he did. After a year of doing both radio and stand up he made the transition into comedy and already has some attention getting credits. Joe Tyler appeared in the VH1 documentary "When Stand Up Comedy Ruled The World" and various TV commercials most notably a national Budweiser commercial that aired during Monday Night Football. His "you don't have to be dirty to be funny" style is part of what makes him so universally appealing. A little adult language goes a long way and Joe Tyler proves that as he sucks up everyday life and spits it back out with sarcasm, insightfulness and moments of brilliance. Joe Tyler has worked with Comic of the year Lewis Black, Blue Collar Comedy Tour's Ron White, Saturday Night Live's Darrell Hammond and Tracy Morgan, Mad TV's Frank Caliendo and Aries Spears, Police Academy's Michael Winslow, Kid 'N Play's Christopher "Kid" Reid, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper's Mark Curry, Bob Zany, Greg Giraldo, Emo Phillips and more.
