Affordable Quilting

When you are adding borders to your quilt, remember to measure through the CENTER of the quilt for the correct length. A good rule is to measure twice and do an average..

If you just put a  border on without doing this you are taking a chance that your borders will be to big.

If you are only 1/8 of an inch to big it will keep getting bigger as more borders are added; thus making the outside border way to big.

This causes flaring on the quilt when it is quilted. I can not   this in if it is to large. see youtube for instructions:
