So for the past few months I've been playing this game called "Vindictus"

My ingame name is dogempire/oniempire (You can have multiple characters) and I'm on the north american version east server. I'm in the guild golden legion, where we basically wear all gold.

Basically it's a hack and slash MMORPG that's a lot of fun if you like games that depend largely on the player's skill, their ability to anticipate and dodge an attack, and how much damage you can deal while creating opportunities for said attacks. (Like dodging under an attack with an attack or creating enough time to charge up an attack. (There's only 1 magic character but we are about to get another one soon)

You can go up to level 85 (It won't take years to get to a high level, really it depends on how quickly you can do the main storyline)

Anyways each character has unique weapons not shared by any other character (Except for Vella, she uses twin swords and is pretty much a revamped version of another character.)

Anyways I'll go ahead and do an overview of each character and also provide a video link to their gameplay. This is a hack and slash kinda like kingdom hearts except there's no jumping. (They had to remove it +mad)

Anyways you won't start out with as many abilities as the people in the video, since you'll gain more as you level up.

Fiona:

Long hammer

She can use either a small shield or large shield, and can wield either a longsword or long hammer. She's able to block most attacks using her shield. the only drawback is that she's somewhat slow though does a lot of damage. She also has a ton of defense so you have a lot of room to take hits. Long hammer is slower than longsword and small shield/longsword is the setup most Fionas use.

Karok:

Karok has 2 weapons the pillar or the cestus. (Yes he carries a small pillar with him, I wouldn't mess with him, he doesn't carry like a front of the white house sized pillar, that would be pretty laggy and would block a lot of people's vision) Anyways instead of dodge attacks he'll absorb them, and he can absorb them in the middle of an attack and can also absorb combo attacks. He'll still take damage but will recover said health over time. Basically if played well enough you can have infinite health. Oh, he's also able to clash bosses. I don't know how to explain it, I'll just attach a video.

Hurk:

I hate this guy, needs to be balanced with the rest of the characters. Anyways Hurk uses a greatsword and doesn't have a second weapon. (Yet) Basically he can absorb hits too, but has low health and defense, but high attack. I don't really like this guy, and I can't really describe him in a good way because of that. Anyways here's the video, it's a party play video so in this video it's not a solo, it's basically what a raid would look like with people, though this raid is one of the most if not the most epic raid in the game so far. Raids consist of up to 8 people except for the royal army raids which are 16-24 people.

Lynn:

she uses a glaive, basically she figthts by hitting the bosses, at different points, causing rose petals to stack at different points on the bos, then detonates them at the same time for a ton of damage. She has no secondary weapon and currently only has the glaive. Anyways I can't explain it well so just watch the video I guess. She's very flowerly, I believe she's about 16 or 17.

Vella:

She uses twin swords or twin chainblades, twin swords are mainly used for countering and twin chainblades are basically swords attached to the end of some long chains, they have the range of a bow but have somewhat low damage. I dislike swords because you're essentially repeating the same combo except for when the boss actually attacks. I wouldn't say don't play vella but she's not exactly one of the more interesting characters.

Lann:

He uses dual swords or dual spears, and is actually very fun, he has a ton of attacks, and you aren't stuck using only 1 combo because each attack will work in certain situations.  Anyways he's one of the more fun characters, twin swords are the better choice for new players, and twin spears are more for the professionalish players. I can tell you that a good player with twin spears looks amazing. I use swords and he's my main character as of now.

Kai

Kai can use either a bow of crossgun, he's my second character and I use a crossgun for him because it's more fun than using a bow. Anyways he mostly fights by keeping a distance from his enemies and shooting them full of arrows, or with the crossgun you fight with bolts and explosions. A crossgun is pretty much an automatic crossbow, but the crossgun has different types of bolts including explosive.

Evie:

Evie is the only character at the moment who uses magic attacks. She can use either a scythe or a staff. Most go with the scythe.
