Runestone Entertainment Cardboard Models

Welcome to Runestone Entertainment, independant comics publishing house since 1998 and paper model manufacturer since 2009. Basically, Runestone is the brainchild of Ottawa artist Jack Bell, and is devoted to publishing action comics throughout the region, and hopefully, the world. It all started off in high school, when Jack was working on his first major work, the Mighty Titan. Being enamoured by the art of the computer game Warcraft, he decided to use one of the scenario objectives as an icon. Though the icon has changed (since obviously it would have infringed upon copyrighted work), the basic idea remains the same.

Around the same time that I was working on my first comic, I dove into the world of role playing and war gaming. I tended to scratchbuild terrain, vehicles using bits of cardboard, paper, plastic, wood, and whatever else I could get my hands on. I also started converting miniatures a lot. In fact, I still do both on a regular basis, which is why I decided to give back to the gaming community with these products.
