This site is dedicated to the amazing teachers of every description and academic content area who participated in one or more of the language and instructional workshops that were part of my mission as a Senior English Language Fellow at UGC, Academic Staff College at Lucknow University.  Invited as visiting faculty by the Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University, Prof. RP Singh, and the Director of Academic Staff College, Prof. Nishi Pandey, I was granted every accommodation to produce workshops that would speak to the issues of English language learning and skills related to the application of knowledge as raised by the Knowledge Commission in its research and work since 2005.

In an admirable scan of the future, the Indian government has set in motion a series of moves designed to keep the learners of this nation at the forefront of education and possessing of the skills necessary to keep them competitive in every international sphere.

Introductory Statement

To create suitable ground conditions for India to become a knowledge society in the new millennium, it is essential to make the best possible school education available to all sections of society, bridging the gap between English medium and regional language medium instruction and that between the rural and the urban as well as the government schools and privately run schools.
