Henry County Habitat House #24, Poised for Dedication
Habitat partner, Barb Garmoe, the volunteers, donors, and support groups invite the community to the dedication of this 24th Habitat for Humanity house in Henry County. Join in the celebration on Sunday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Friends Church, 1105 East Henry Street, Mount Pleasant, for a dedication service. Then to 311 West Monroe Street for the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.
Habitat affiliates and partners invest in building simple, decent, and affordable homes via volunteer efforts, sweat equity of the homeowners, their demonstrated need, and ability to repay the Habitat for Humanity loan over a period of 20 years. Guided by a Christian mission, Habitat brings together businesses, foundations, churches, families, and individuals to provide affordable housing. On the calendar for April, 2014...Sunday, April 27 at 2:30pm...join Barb Garmoe, family, and friends for a ground breaking ceremony at 311 West Monroe Street in Mount Pleasant. Barb is HCHFH's 24th Partner for building a house in Henry County IA.

Successful Tip Night at Pizza Ranch in Mount Pleasant!
Pizza Ranch, Mt Pleasant IA - Members of the Board of Habitat for Humanity in Henry County AND Iowa Wesleyan College students associated with the local HFH chapter waited tables at the Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch the evening of March 10, 2014.
Tips will help fund the building of decent, affordable housing for individuals or families in Henry County, IA.
Many thanks for the generosity of the Pizza Ranch management, for the participation of the Iowa Wesleyan College chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and for patron giving throughout this fund raising event!
