Volunteer at Harrow Gateway

What can you do for Harrow Gateway

Harrow Gateway offers social and leisure activities to people with learning disabilities and is run by a board of trustees, ably supported by a small dedicated army of volunteers. We are always on the look-out for people to join the board of trustees, help run the services or provide general support, such as maintenance or fundraising initiatives. You can do as much or as little as you want to assist Harrow Gateway and all we ask is that you are dedicated to the cause of supporting people with learning disabilities and remember we do not pay anyone for their time

  • Trustees
  • Fundraisers
  • Promoters/Marketers
  • Mini-van drivers
  • Club leaders
  • Club helpers
  • Market helpers
  • Outings organisers
  • General maintenance/Handyperson

Not all the positions listed above will be dealing with our members but those volunteers who will be working with our members who have learning disabilities will be required to undergo a DBS check.
