Keeping sprites alive, one flash at a time.

Almost a year and no updates!? WTF? Feb. 12th, 2010

OK, first off  a (late) Happy New Year to whoever is reading this. Second I should apologize for not keeping things up to date. To summarize, 2009 was hell for me. Going through a financial crisis, Animator's block, battling depression, my Laptop's hard drive crashing, and FSM 7 going on hiatus. As you can see, everything kinda collapsed on me for some reason. Thankfully, however, I'm doing what I can to get back on my own two feet. For those who aren't aware, I informed the fans at Youtube and in Newgrounds about my situation a few months back and thankfully the fans have been supportive despite all the crap that happened to me.

Still, even though it's been a year, I haven't given up on Four Swords 7. Despite the delays I'm still making progress and I can confirm that it's almost done and that it's looking great. The episode is chock full of eye candy, hilarious jokes and hidden Easter Eggs/medals. Most of the episode is finished and all I need now is to wait for Osuka's part for the flash. I can't promise anything yet, but I'm hoping to release it sometime around this month or next month. Remember, things can change. In the mean time, here's a special preview of FSM 7
hwFl-NIl82E

As for episode 8, I'm still developing the story and I'm halfway through it at the moment. I haven't decided how to end the next episode yet, but something will come up.

As for other projects, I have one that's been in the back burner for a while, but had to put it on hold in favor of FSM 7. Fans wanted me to make another LoZ+Queen flash and that's what I'm doing. You'll see it at some point of course, when I have time to finish it that is.

Now, last year, even though it hasn't been that productive I did collaborate on a few projects. The Marvel Collab,  The Street Fighter Collab, and The Faces of Newgrounds (uncredited, but I appear near the end anyway). I also Finished MK Mishaps Gold out of fan demand, though when it came to posting it on NG, it got overshadowed by Madness Day. Talk about bad timing...Anyway, if you guys want to check it out, it's also available on Youtube at this link That's all I got for now, I'll try to keep things up to date again. Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long.

Long Time No See Feb. 19th, 2009

Hello again,
First, I know it's late, but I just thought I'd say Happy new year to the readers at Freewebs (or webs.com, as the site is called nowadays.).
Second, I'd like to thank my fans and my cast for making Four Swords Misadventures 6 a success, winning Daily First in December and also helping me get King of the Portal last month in Newgrounds. At first I though the whole KOTP thing was was a mistake, but noticing how people are still supportive of my work (even though I work with sprites), I have come to accept the honor, as controversial as it might seem to other animators who also bust their asses making "traditional" animations. In conclusion, NG is everything, by everyone. I'll leave it as it is.

Third, I would also like to announce that FSM 7 began production a few days ago and released a teaser trailer for it on youtube. However, if you're interested in seeing the real deal, here it is:

http://www.freewebs.com/hadouken_dude/flash/FSM 7.swf

I would like to point out 3 things about it.
1. Don't expect it to be a climactic conclusion of the arc, cause it'll be the comlpete opposite.
2.This episode might suffer what I like to call the "lame Trilogy conclusion" effect ,where the 3rd part isn't as good as the last two (like spider-man and matrix  for example), but whatever. Anything can happen
3.Contrary to popular belief, the story WILL continue after ep. 7. People don't seem to realize that this story arc project was meant to look like a 3 part episode.

Anyway, like the flash states, I cannot give out a date for it because the episode's development process is completely unpredictable. FSM 6 suferred a 3 month delay because of a problem with Zelda's transformation scene. Originally Mario Simic (aka Purple Link) was going to do it, but his personal life got complicated and I later turned to Osuka for help and surprisingly it ended up being better than I thought it would be.Osuka will again contribute his animation skills in episode 7 by bashing a popular anime.

Speaking of which, Osuka has also been working on the Street Fighter collab in NG and like last time, I helped him out with some voices and a few other ideas. The collab will be as epic as last years MG collab, I can feel it.

One final thing is that I'm still developing ideas for my next and final MK flash which will be titled "MK Mishaps Gold". It will be basically like the last 3 installments but now with the inclusion of a few DC comics characters and gags. I'll probably end this series with a bang. As for future ideas ,well, things will take its course eventually and in due time, I'll let you guys know what I'm cooking up next.

Till next time!

What's new? September 30th, 2008

I know, I haven't updated this site much lately, but over the past 4 months I've been involved with a bunch of things.

First of all, for those wondering about Four Swords Misadventures 6, the episode is almost complete. I can't guarantee a release date just yet but if, things go well, I'll release it sometime around October, if not later in the year. Episode 6 surpasses the previous one by length and content and I really went overboard with it. My mind was exploding with ideas and I was having too much fun writing everything down. Expect to see a lot of movie references, anime jokes, TV gags, and even reference a few internet memes. The episode will also include "real animation" during a certain scene in the 2nd act of the flash. Mario (the voice of Purple Link) is currently working on this scene. I've seen some screen shots and it looks impressive so far. This will be the best episode yet. Oh, and for those wondering if Spikedapenguin will return as Red's VA again, It's not gonna happen. After a 2 year hiatus, he emailed me last month and said that he quit voice acting. He's currently working on other projects atm so expect to see more of him on youtube. This means that Richard Fincher (aka baldboy 64) will stay as the current VA for Red Link.

Second, for those who should know by now, Sprite TV 3 was released a few months back. Even though I did my personal best in this flash, it just wasn't well received by most NG critics. Also, I really doubt that thre will be a fourth one. TITROTU (the leader of STV 3) said that a 4th part will be highly unlikely due to "the decline of sprite movies". I posted 2 blogs in NG expressing my opinion about what TITROTU said, but with mixed results . Either way, this will not stop me from making sprite parodies. I just want fans to follow my example by coming up with something worth watching instead of focusing on real art. This is an ongoing debate in Newgrounds(art vs. effort) and I prefer to remain neutral over it.

Third, I prticipated in the Metal Gear flash collab in a limited way (voice acting for Osuka's animations) The results came in and we won 2nd place out of 50+ authors. Yes, I was surprised to read it too.Osuka really deserved the award, though he was so close to winning 1st. Now, the reason I'm bringing this up is because he was willing to offer me a prize for helping him out in the flash. My prize is a Metal Gear Awesome Newgrounds T shirt. Now I'll get to own a piece of Newgrounds history and I'm really looking forward to it, so much that I will upload (and show off ) a few images with the shirt. We should be recieving the prize pack and award money anytime now, so we'll have to wait for it until it comes.

Fourth, I've upladed a bunch of things on Youtube. A special edition of FSM episode 2.2 (with lost footage), samples of sprite TV 3,  An exclusive four swords 6 preview (It was a Rickroll. sorry, I couldn't resist) a new MK/WWE crossover between The Rock and Shao Kahn andmuch more. Now, speaking of MK, fans have been asking me to make MK mishaps 4. It's been something I've been thinking about for a while since I haven't worked on MK parodies for quite some time. I'll probably come up with something based on the MK vs. DC Crossover fighting game. You never know really, but I'll make a new MK flash at some point. You'll see it when the time is right.

And finally, after a few years full of problems, I can now accept paypal donations again. My account was originally limited because I didn't own a US bank account. Thankfully, things have been resolved and my account is back online. So if you want to donate, feel free to do so cause I'll really appreciate it. Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!
And please, don't give me the "I would if I could " excuse. I've seen this a lot in the past...

Well, that's it for this post. if anything else pops up I'll let you guys know.

I'm Baaaaaacckkk! May 22nd, 2008

That's right. Just when you thought I was gone, I'm back with a vengeance.Sorry for not Updating this site as much as before....anyway, this time around I want to inform users of a few things.

First off, Episode 5 of Four swords Misadventures was released earlier this month on Newgrounds and on Youtube. For those who aren't aware, this is a 3 part story arc project that I've been developing for quite some time. thankfully I found the opportunity to continue animating the series. Warning: episode 5 is nearly 16 minutes long (my longest...flash...ever), so find some spare time to actually watch it. Also, I read that some users were "disappointed" over this episode in NG. I want to make something perfectly clear, I cannot please everyone with my sense of humor. Sure the dialogue dragged on a little too long, but I was cramming a lot of stuff in these 3 episodes with the intention of "more is better". I'm also building up for some completely random humor in the next ones. There will be fighting, anime satire, internet gags and Naruto bashing (Believe it).I'll do what I can to release it later this year, just give me some time to work on it.
Episode 5.1 and 5.2 are now available for viewing in my FSM episodes page courtesy of youtube. Also Here's a sneek peek at the Intro that I'll be using for episode 6. it's a Gundam Wing reference that I'm sure you guys will enjoy. Check it out.
V2gMIluEHVI

Second, for those who aren't aware, Sprite TV 2 was launched a few months back and gained quite a positive reaction. It went so well that I'm officially participating in Sprite TV 3, thanks to a new buddy of mine: OSUKA (who coincidentally is also Venezuelan, like me) Be prepared to see more random pixelled nonsense this time around, I got some interesting non-Zelda gags in store for you guys, so be on the lookout for it later in the year.

And finally, I'm also participating in a huge Metal Gear collab created on Newgrounds. I'm only participating in a limited way though since I don't know much about the Metal Gear series(except for Metal Gear Solid and the NES Metal Gear). I'm just voice acting for OSUKA once again. He asked me if I could voice act for his MG flashes and I just couldn't resist in being part of an epic collab. This is all part of a huge contest that involves cash and prizes. If we win, we could even get a Metal Gear Awesome T shirt and other stuff. I hope things turn out well at the end. I'm really looking forward to it. Keep an eye out for it,the flash should be out sometime soon.

Well, that's all for now. I'll try to update this page more often this time around.
Until next time!

MK Mishaps trilogy Special, Four Swords Script being developed.

Hello everyone and happy new year.Just thought I'd let you guys know a few things: First off, after noticing the cult following of my MK mishaps flashes, mainly on youtube, I have decided to post a special version on my youtube page. It's the complete MKM Trilogy with audio commentary from me, the creator. This was made for the DVD fans who love to check out the bonus features and hear the audio commentaries from the movie directors, so I decided to do the same thing. here's the video for those who haven't seen it:
4rCDmcGmlUI
I'll possibly make another one if I can.
Now, for those wondering what's going to happen in the next FSM, I'm in the middle of developing a REALLY long script, long enough for 3 episodes. so I'm cramming all the best gags I can think of this time. I already mentioned it on Myspace, Newgrounds & in Youtube. Even though my computer needs repairing, I'm starting from scratch this time with all the audio and sfx until I find a way to get all the memory back again.
Which brings me back to another project that was forced to be put on hold:Goku Vs. Superman. I was hoping to get this one ready before the year ended, but things change and now I have to wait and see if I'll ever get my old PC running again.the only thing I have to show you was this sample clip which was also posted on youtube:

MdB8lWOQRBI
This clip was the 1st round of a 3 round fight and I was planning on having 2 additional characters interfere and mix things up afterwards. But now this'll have to wait. The only thing I can work on right now is Four Swords since it's the only thing I got for the moment.Well, that's all for now.

What's Going On Now? October 14th 2007

Well, there hasn't been much to talk about lately except for a few things.
1.If you haven't noticed the 3 flash demos posted in this site, that's because I was invited to be part of a flash collaboration called Sprite TV 2 a few months back, I mentioned it back in NG. I know I should have mentioned this here earlier, but I usually get caught up with other things, so my bad on posting it so late. The collaboration is still in development and hopefully things will be ready within a few months.
2. My Goku Vs. Superman flash has been temporarily put on hold due to the fact that my PC needs to be repaired. Hopefully it won't be for long. I posted a sample of the flash on youtube just in case if you're interested. Believe me, I want to get this done ASAP, but I guess these things happen.I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that I don't lose the flash file, otherwise it's back to the drawing board.... I don't want that to happen...
3.Since My PC isn't running properly, I decided to start writing the script (literally by hand) for FSM 5. This one will be quite extensive and, depending on how I develop the script, I am trying to make it long enough to maybe split it into 2 or 3 episodes just to speed things up with my story. I won't reveal much about it, the only thing I will say is that the next episode will have something to do with the "very extensive side-quest" mentioned in part 4.

That's pretty much it for now. I've been busy with my university assignments as well, which also explains the nearly 3 month abscence from this site. I'll try to find the time to work on the next FSM script now that it's the only thing I could do at the moment. I promise that, when I get things settled, I will come up with something new. Until next time.

FSM 4 is out.,and on front page! July 21st, 2007

Yes, the episode is finally out. I know it's kinda late to mention that  here, but I spend more time on other sites, like Youtube, that I kinda forget all about this one. The episode didn't win any awards, but it's still has its popularity thanks to the NG crew putting this flash on front page.I'm aware that fans are praising the humor, yet criticizing the actors at times and also, there are a few that think part  4 is a "filler" episode.  OK, the filler thing is kinda true, but the point of the series is to keep it interesting and unpredictable in each episode. I will continue the story somehow, someway, and this will take time to develop a proper story arc that connects to other possible dungeons and possible plot twists.

Now that FSM 4 is out of the way, I can think of other things to work on:
The Goku Vs. Superman Flash was on hold for quite a whle and I'll need to continue developing it (still at 60%).
I'm feeling interested in making another MK mishap parody, that is, if you want to see more MK gags.
And I have another LoZ/Queen idea that I could use, yet I won't reveal which song I'll use.

after that I can develop a new story for part 5 of Four Swords I'll be needing all the help I can get. fan feedback is what makes this series keep on going (though rather slowly).

Anyway, that's all for now.
Until next time and thanks for the support!

back again July 3rd, 2007

I know, most of you are still wondering when four swords 4 will be out. As I said to numerous fans, I'm doing what I can to get things done. Originally, I wanted to get it done by June, but plans changed after my university announced that the semester was ending early. Most students thought the semester was ending on July 30th, then it was announced that it was moved up to the 13th of the very same month... This left me with very little time to work on flash and for the past month I've been taking tests and completing other assignments to complete my grades.I can assure you guys that the flash is already 90% complete at this point and I have to finish one last scene. I'm keeping my fingers crossed here and I'm hoping to get it done by the end of July. I'm sorry about not getting the flash ready sooner, but that's life, sometimes you don't have the time to work on your own projects.

Another thing that I should have mentioned is that my You Tube versions of Four Swords Misadventures have their own page here too, however, just a few days ago, Episode 2.2 was removed from You Tube.I find it odd that they would ban a sprite flash like this one. The series may have some crude humor from time to time, but there's nothing sexually explicit. The Japanese Link & Zelda lines aren't even pornographic! Believe me, I have a translation of the Japanese voice acted story from the "LoZ:Sound and Drama" soundtrack. You Tube should lighten up about these things. The idiots gave me a "Terms of Use" violation and I'm the original author of this series.I didn't violate any freaking rules!

And finally, there's another thing that I should point out. Some of you must have realized by now that I haven't posted anything new in nearly 7 months. The reason for this is because I've been going through a bit of writer's block this year. It hasn't been easy for me to deal with it nor publically admit the situation and I sometimes feel like I already achieved what I wanted to achieve in flash. This doesn't mean that I'm quitting flash, there are so many ideas out there in the internet and I'm waiting for a new and original one to hit me in the face. I'll try to come up with something new later this year besides the "Goku vs. Superman" and FSM 4 flashes, I promise.
Well ,that's it for now.

I'm still alive folks! May 10th, 2007

I know, I haven't updated things here and I'm really sorry about that. Since I'm in my first semester in my Telecomunications career , I have very little time to work on flash lately. But one thing is for sure, Four Swords 4 is still moving along (rather slowly). Normally I don't give out an exact due date for this project mainly because I find it unpredictable. Reason:  the voice actors aren't always available to finish their part in the story due to job, school or family related events (I'm included in this too) and this delays things even further. However, I am hoping to get part 4 of this story done by next month. *Crosses fingers* in the mean time  I posted a Sneek peak of the intro that I'll be using in episode 4. Go check it out.
On a related note, I should let you know that the first 3 episodes of Four Swords Misadventures are now available on youtube, which means that the audio sync has been fixed in episodes 2.1 and 2.2. My stragedy here is to post the animations in my channel (hitthefloor729) as an attempt to avoid confusion from other users who post my flashes in that site (and some of you bastards are taking credit for it too...). I still don't see the interest in posting flash animations in a site intended for "VIDEOS". Sites like Newgrounds and Flash Portal exist for a reason and Youtube is a different category. I don't want to repeat myself here, I already mentioned it in myspace. In short, I believe the internet mostly consists in 12-15 year old noobs who posts  stolen content for fun and don't know what they're getting into. Unfortunately, there's no way to stop it. *sigh* oh well...

as for the Goku vs. Superman flash, I decided to put that one on hold because I prefer to finish four swords episode 4 first, then move on with other ideas if possible.
Well, that's it for now.
Again, sorry I've been absent  here for 2 months.

What's New? March 3rd 2007

As you can see, last month my account has been frozen due to the annoying bandwidth limit. 500MB per month isn't enough for this site
Anyway I thought I'd make some kind of announcement. there's not much to say about what I've been doing for the past 2 months. I'm still working on a few things here and there. I decided to change the title of my Goku vs. Superman flash. I'll now call it "The Battle Of The Man Made Gods", as a reference to the song I'm using in the flash (Man Made God) by In Flames The flash is about 60% done at the moment. The second half of the song will get a bit harder to relate to the fight, so this'll take a few more months to complete. (It's looking pretty badass, I'll tell you that). I'm making it as balanced as possible to avoid any complaints from fans. I want to prevent the mistake I made in my SF vs. DBZ Budokai flashes by creating 2 separate endings for both fans. Also, for those wondering how Goku and Superman can trade blows with ease in my animation, I have 3 words to answer that: SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF! Look it up in Wikipedia...
As for FSM 4, I'm still working on the script and it's also halfway done, but hasn't reached the animation process yet. I haven't been working on it much due to the fact that my studies eventually get in the way every once in a while and also because I'm working on the above mentioned flash project. I have a habit of working on 2 or more things at once. This is normal for me because in case if I feel blocked with one project, I work on the next one until I get more ideas for the previous one and vice versa. If I get a chance to develop the story properly, it'll be ready by the summer time, but things can change. This is why I don't like posting due dates, I don't like being pressured to finish an animation. These things take time to make and pressuring an author for the next installment of a popular flash will pretty much ruin the outcome of the story. Most of you need to understand this from an author's POV.
One last thing, I'm noticing that most fans are asking me to make another MK flash. Originally I was going to leave the MK Mishaps flashes as a trilogy, but I guess you want to see more from me, huh? I haven't decided on that much. I have some MK ideas animated but recently I'm not feeling interested in making fourth one yet. That's because I want to move on with other things and experiment with new ideas if possible. The possibility for another MK parody is still up in the air, anything can happen.
Well that's all for this month.
P.S.:If you see this account frozen again, Send your complaints to Freewebs, not to me...

This Month's Announcement Jan. 17th 2006

Happy New Year everyone.
I know it's kind of late to say it now, but I got caught up with other things. I'd like to inform everyone that my projects will be put on hold until possibly the end of this month, I haven't had the chance to work on anything recently because I've been getting a lot of homework over the past few weeks in my university. It's a pain, but I'll have to get used to it...

The script for "Four Swords Misadventures 4" is still in development. I'll try to get something done when I get some free time on my hands. As some of you might know, SpikeDaPenguin (the voice actor who plays Red Link) will not be able to continue to play his part because of a commitment that he made with the Carson Daily Show (visit youtube for more info) .He'll be gone for about 2 years, so this means that I'll be looking for a replacement voice actor for Red Link in episode 4. If you're an experienced voice actor and want to play this or any other part in the story, email me a voice sample of what you can do. Only a selected few will get chosen to participate.

Anyway I would also like to say that "LoZ: My Immortal" premiered last month on Newgrounds and won 5th place. I was expecting better out of this project, but I guess it's better than nothing. Besides NG,The flash is now available for viewing in TX Mafia, PhrozenFlame, Aniboom and FlashPortal. Strangely, the flash wasn't accepted in UGOPlayer (yet "We Are The Champions" and "Princes Of The Universe" did get approval from that site). I don't know exactly what they didn't like about it, But whatever it was, it's their loss.

On Another note, even though the concept of "LoZ: My Immortal" got a decent amount of praise in NG, it only reached +9,000 views (as of this writing) .Yet in FlashPortal, that same animation is reaching nearly 25,000 views. I think most viewers in NG are really missing out on something innovative here. I guess this stuff happens to other authors as well.

That's it for this month, I'll be back soon.

What's new this month? December 18th 2006

Hello again, now that I officially started my Christmas break, I can let you know what I'm working on at the moment.
Well, first off, I'm still trying to finish up  LoZ: My Immortal. I'm not gonna reveal anything else about this yet, I prefer to keep things under wraps until it's ready.
Second, I'm also working on another idea tentatively titled "The Battle of the Man Made Gods". What is it you ask? Simple it's a fight between the Man of Steel (Superman) and the Super Saiyan (Son Goku) fighting to the tune of Man Made God by In Flames. I posted a blog on Myspace for those who haven't noticed it yet. Most of the info is in there.
Third, I recently made a tribute to Twilght Princess after being inspired by the opening theme song from "The Adventures of Tintin" cartoon. I was able to relate the song to a few trailers of TP and it turned out pretty well.  You can view it either on myspace or on youtube if you like.
Fourth, I'd like to announce that at the moment my next MK parody is still up in the air. I haven't gotten any new ideas just yet, but the time will come soon enough.

And finally, for the people aslking me about the next episode of Four Swords and how many episodes I'm going to make out of it: episode 4 will probably be ready around summer 2007 I don't reveal the exact date because I prefer to keep it a surprise to viewers. I still haven't decided on how many episodes I'll make out of it, maybe 10 or 15, but things can change. I'll keep making them until I run out of ideas.
I'm looking for experienced voice actors ages 15 and up (no 13 year old n00bs, please). If you want to voice act for my 4 swords series, e-mail me
about it and send me an audio clip of what you can do.I'm not looking for anything specific at the moment.
That's it for this month, I'll let you guys know if I can come up with anything new. Until next time!

A Reminder. November 7th, 2006

Sorry I haven't posted much, I've been rather busy lately...
Just a little reminder (though kinda late), Four Swords Misadventures 3 is already out. See the flash here. I'll try to have it posted in other sites in the next few weeks.

On another note, I also opened up a myspace account. visit the page here and feel free to send me a message anytime.

I'm still working on some flash ideas from time to time, but nothing important just yet.
I got to go now. Later!

What am I upto now? October 15th, 2006

By reading the title, you're probably wondering  the same thing. I've been working on mostly scattered ideas lately:
-Four swords Misadventures 3 should be out sometime this month or possibly november If I get everything ready. I'm still waiting for 2 more voice actors to finish their lines. How good will the episode be? All I can say is that the flash will be around 16 or 17 minutes long and weighs around 6 megs so far, it's my longest and heaviest flash yet. I've been working on the episode ever since late May and it's looking really good. Things have been getting a bit complicated for me over the last few months, mostly family related issues and University related too, but I'm doing what I can to get these projects off the ground.
-Another Project that's still in the works is another Zelda flash music video.Unlike the last 2 Queen based  Zelda flashes, this one is based on "My Immortal"(Band Version) by Evanescence. The song inspired me to make a tragic love story based on the Zelda-Link relationship in the games. The concept of the flash is that Link dies in action fighting Ganon and Princess Zelda (who sings the song) expresses how she regrets putting him in danger every time she get's kidnapped. It'll also include a happy ending just when the heavy rock part of the song kicks in. If this flash has the power to make you cry, then I succeeded in making a great love tory out of it. I'll see if it gets released real soon.
-Now, when it comes to making another MK Mishaps flash, I still need more new ideas for it. I recently posted two MK/WWE based parodies on YouTube since it's considered one of the world's most popular sites. This was done to show my ideas to a test audience before I pick the best ones for MKM 4, if I ever make it that is. Click here and here if you want to check them out. Don't forget to leave a review.
On another note,my 3 MKM flashes also appear on youtube. And by the looks of it, they were posted by fans of my flashes.I'm not exactly annoyed by it, but if you want to post my flashes there, AT LEAST give me credit for it.
That's all for now.

four swords and other announcements. September 9th, 2006

Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a few announcements. First off, Ever since "LoZ: We Are The Champions" made it's debut, a few people asked  me if they could submit it on YouTube.Eventually I found about 3 fans who did submitted it there. It's not that I have a problem with it, but from My POV the site is supposed to be for "videos" and not for flashes. They're 2 completely different things.Either way, I asked the users that they can keep the flash if I get credited for it, most of them decided to remove the video out of respect. On another note, I also have a YouTube account (hitthefloor729) so think twice before submitting my work there.I was finally able to convert that flash to video and it's already been submitted.
Second, I'd like to announce that my flashes are now being submitted on AniBoom which is a site dedicated to all types of animation (flash, traditional, stop-motion, 3D, etc). They're having a special contest there and I've been asked to participate in it.They're giving out $25,000 for 1st place and 5 category prizes of $5,000 each. The competition will officially start on September 17th. It'll be tough, but I'd be extremely lucky if I do win something out of it.
Third, most fans are desperately asking me when episode 3 will be ready. I'll probably have it done by October (no exact date yet), but things can change. Everything's coming along nicely and it'll possibly be the longest one yet, so please be patient and remember my "Zelda Philosophy": the longer you wait, the better the finished product will be. On another note, the Four Swords Links have been spotted in the flash Mortal Kombat Riot
which was made by a close friend of mine named Rachel Yates Parker. She was a fan of my work and it was her idea to add the "cameo" in her first flash (she's better than you think). She asked for my permission and I accepted it. I also did Stryker's voice in it just to help out. The flash is worth watching if you like random humor.

That's about it, If I come up with other ideas, I'll let you guys know. Later!

FSM 1, Remade August 2nd, 2006

That's right, after the web poll I made 6 months ago, I decided to re-release the episode with a few alterations. The remake has better voice acting, altered text , added dialogue, some added songs and a little special feature at the end explaining the inspiration behind the series(this explination appears in the site too).this as made especially for the fans who demanded to see it. To view it, click here.
Now that this is out of the way, I can continue with FSM 3 and other ideas. Until next time!

I'm back, a Special announcement. June 28th, 2006

Hello everyone. First, I would like to say that after a month of studying (most of June) I took the entrance exam today and I think I passed it. It's too soon to tell though, I need to wait until mid to late July to find out the results for that.
With that aside,I like to make an important announcement. Is anyone familiar with www.sms.ac? It's a short message service site for cell phones. What's so important about it? Simple, since cellular phone technology is advancing at such a fast rate, you can now download your favorite flashes on your phone through the above mentioned site. Yes,even mine!  However, these things aren't exactly for free. You need to pay for the service, which means that you pay the author (me, for example) so you can upload a flash (they're called pods in the site) to your phone. How cool is that? if you have an sms.ac account, you can enjoy some of the best flashes circling the web right now (besides mine) in your own hands. And according to what I understood, I get paid for this! If you want to download one of my flashes to your phone but don't want to waste a lot of money on it, don't worry. My flashes are real cheap ranging between $1 and $1.50 per download. The price depends on the popularity of the flash.Visit the link here to see the flashes you can download on your phone. I'd really appreciate your support here, I need the money you know.
That's all I have to say about that right now.
Oh and one last thing, I'll start working on FSM 3 now. Hopefully it won't take as long as the others, but who knows.
Until next time!

A month-long absence. June 22nd 2006

Hello again. Most of you must be wondering if I'm making another flash right now. Unfortunately, I'm putting my projects on hold due to the fact that I'm studying for an entrance exam in a university.Yes,I know this sucks, but it's only temporary. Also, I'd like to point out that I'm unemployed right now and after 5 months, it's getting hard for me to find a job where I live, which is why I'm busy studying right now. I hope everything turns out for the best.Wish me luck.
I'dlike to add that I want to turn this flash hobby into a career someday, but it looks like it's too soon for that and I need to be prepared for more important things.
Don't worry,I'll be back soon. Just you wait and see what I'll come up with next!

LoZ:We Are the Champions Debut May 10th 2006

That's right the, flash has made it's debut in New Grounds today like around noon eastern time. The flash, just like princes of the universe, relates the song's lyrics with link's adventures throught the Zelda series. Reviews are looking favorable as of this writing. For those who don't visit New Grounds, It will be submitted soon to other sites (see FAQ page for details). Thanks in advance for all the positive feedback!
A few people have been questioning about FSM 3. Let me just say that I need to find the time to make it since I'm busy with other things at the moment. Relax,It's not like I'm gonna take a year to make it. If I'm lucky, I'll have it ready by late Summer or mid Autumn. Have a little patience people...

More updates. April 30th,2006

Just wanted to let you know that I made a few adjustmens on the site. I removed the sprite sheets and animated gifs sections from the site as well as one of my flashes due to bandwidth issues which, in my case, the bandwidth eventually can get used up in less than a few days and could  freeze the site.
On the bright side, I have given the site a new look and I have updated my autobiography page with a few more of my comments based on the reactions of each one of my flashes and my opinions about them. I also updated the FAQ page with a few more questions, althought I'm still getting emails about learning flash and other stuff..
Now, If you're one of the many fans who's anxiously waiting for another one of my flashes, I'm still working on a special surprise for all you Zelda fans. It should be out soon though. It's 80% complete at the moment and it's my way of celebrating 20 years of the Zelda franchise. you'll see it soon enough. In the mean time, check out the image I made for my upcoming music video. It will be worth the wait. Keep a lookout for it in New Grounds!

FAQ Page April 12th,2006

Ever since I became a popular flash artist in New Grounds, I have gotten constant emails from most of you guys asking me mostly flash related questions. And thus, the FAQ page was created. Check it out if you have any doubts about my flashes. I'll update the page with other questions later on.
Until next time!

Bandwidth limit used up again, so soon? April 2nd, 2006

Wow, it's been around 3 days that my site came back from downtime and I already used up my monthly bandwidth again?! I'm starting to wonder if it's a good thing or a bad thing...Well, due to bandwidth issues I had to remove some sprite sheets and animated gifs from my site (again) to prevent freezing my account.
If you're one of the many theiving bastards that like to rip pics and sprites from other sites (admit it, we all are in some way), I have added an extra link to the page. "The Fighters Generation" is a site that has lots of official art and usable animated gifs from almost every video game fighting character from Street Fighter to Mortal Kombat to even King of Fighters. It's a great site and you should check it out.
However, if you're loking for other sprites, let's say Super Mario or Zelda sprites for example, you should visit The Shy Guy Kingdom instead. I'm posting these links as a backup instead of posting sprites on my site since they're the main cause of the constantly used up bandwidth.
I would love to update this site to a premium account, which would mean that I get more bandwidth per month, but I'm having some trouble with Paypal at the moment. Since I live outside of the U.S., I can't use the donated money I earned on this site because I need a U.S. bank account to deposit that money.Paypal really needs to adapt to more international currencies,it sucks that you can't use the money that you've earned if you don't have an American account .
If anyone wants to lend me a hand on this, let me know.
Thanks for understanding.

Updates and MKM custom pics. March 30th, 2006

I'm back from downtime everyone. The bandwidth limit is beginning to annoy me though...
Anyway, I'm back to let you know that I updated the site a bit. I added more commentary about my flashes in my "Biography" as well as updated the web poll. This time, I want to know what you'd like to see in future Four Swords Misadventures and there are 6 options.
Speaking of FSM, I'm still planning a few things out before I start animating episode 3. In last month's poll, most of you voted to see a remake of episode 1 with better voice acting,to which I do agree because the series deserves a much better intro than the one I made completely by myself.
Before I get started on FSM 3, I decided to make another Zelda music video. I'm trying to recapture the same humor of "Princes of the Universe" and relate the flash as much as possible to the song I'm working on.Which song is it you ask? I'll give you a hint, It's another popular Queen song which celebrates sports related victories.
On a realted note, I would like to point that over a month ago, the webmaster of a Zelda site called hyrule.net asked me if I he could post my "Princes Of The Universe" flash on his website. He absolutely loved the flash and he added it to the fan movie section of his site. It's such an honor for me to have a Zelda flash site promote my work and I thank him for that. to view it,click here .
Now,I also have a special treat for all you MK Mishaps fans. I made 3 special custom pics which were based on the actual gags in the flashes.I got the Idea to make these after visiting some forums in Newgrounds and I'd love to see them used in the forums someday. Feel free to use these pics.I'll make more of them, if they get popular of course. Enjoy them!
I'll let you know if anything new comes up.Later guys!

MK Mishaps 3 and other updates March 1st, 2006

Hello again!I wanted to let you know a few things.
First off, MK Mishaps 3. It's officialy my second 1st place award and my 5th flash on the New Grounds front page. I would like to thank all the fans for their support.

Second, I wanted to let you know that I activated a blog page so you can comment on new ideas for the next installment on MK mishaps. It's been open for the past couple of days and it should be getting some comments by now. it's open for the public for those who don't know and I'm waiting for some new ideas from you guys.

Third,I had to make some adjustments in some pages and removed a few sprite sheets, animated gifs and flashes due to bandwidth issues.I only get 500MB of bandwidth per month in this site and when it gets used up, you'll see a sponsor page everytime you visit my site.500MB of bandwidth gets used up very fast in this site in less than a month.I know it gets annoying for most of you and I can't do anything for now. However, you can help me out with Paypal donations if you want to see more stuff on this site. I understand most of you don't know what Paypal is or how it works, but for those who do please don't hesitate to donate. I apreciate the support.
Well, that's enough for now and thanks again for the award people!

MK Mishaps 3 Debut! Other Ideas. Feb 25th, 2006

I promised you guys that it would be submitted today. 6 more MK jokes which are full of laughs. I decided to submit it like around 12:45AM EST for those who stayed up late last night. I'm quite proud of it.
I have also mentioned that I would make another episode if this one does well.

To make things interesting, I want to make a interactive version of it,in other words, having fans sending me their own ideas and I animate it for them. The creators of the jokes will be credited for their ideas,of course. If this project works, It'll be known as MK Mishaps Interactive.

If you think you have a good MK joke, but don't know how to animate it in flash, send the ideas to me and I will pick the best ones for it.Be creative with your jokes. Make sure that it makes sense if it's MK or WWE related and please,no toilet humor. There are plenty of other ways of making people laugh and grossing them out isn't always a good idea.

If you're wondering about Four Swords Misadventures 3, I'm not going to reveal anything about it just yet. When the time comes, I will let you know what I'm upto...
Later!

Site updated, Four Swords news and MK Mishaps 3. Feb 4th 2006

Yes,it's been almost a month since my last update. Time is sure passing by quickly.Anyway, I want you guys to know that I updated a few things in the site.
First off there is a new web poll this month and it's about the first episode of Four Swords Misadventures.Ever since it got popular, I always wondered if the fans would like to see more of a decent first episode with better voice acting rather than seeing the poorly done original version. I would like to know your opinion on it.
Second, I added another page which includes original artwork from me.I did these drawings during my Graphic Design course almost 2 years ago using Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Photoshop and I figured I show them off in this website since these drawings show part of my artisitc style. It's worth a look.

Now about MK Mishaps 3. I've been working on it for a few weeks and I plan to release it around  the 25th of this month. If you want more information about it, check out my Newgrounds Alpha here.

Now for some Four Swords Misadventures news: I haven't started working on the next episode just yet, however, I got an email  from a popular NG voice actress, Kagome Higurashi, asking me if she can play the the part of Zelda. Ironically, I was about to email her and ask her the same thing since she was the first person I had in mind to play her . It sounds like a dream come true. She has a cute "anime girl" type voice that I'm sure you'll love. You should listen to her voice samples here.
Now for another story related to FSM. About a month ago I met a dude named Brent who created a Four Swords web comic inspired my flash. It's an honor to have someone be inspired by your own work and I thank him for that. I look forward to his other projects and ideas as well. If you want to check out his sprite comics visit this site here. You can tell that  he was also inspired by my "LoZ: Princes of the Universe" flash since he has a midi version of the tune in his home page. How cool is that? Anyway, stay tuned for more info later on.

Site updated Jan. 7th 2006

I added a few new things to the site like a web poll and even separated the sprite pages into 2 pages "Sprites  Sheets" and "Animated Gifs" there will be more on the way soon.

Update: Now available is "The Idea Behind Four Swords Misadventues" which mostly explains my story's origins and inspirations. Check it out here.

Four Swords 2.2 wins 3rd place and gets front page. January 5th 2006

Thanks guys for the award and front page. I never though it would get this popular. I guess I consider it an underground success. For those who dont' know yet, the series will continue. I Won't rush the next one, I perfer to take my time with it.
As many of you noticed, I opened up a new guestbook page a few days back because I love to hear from the fans.
Before a new episode of Four Swords is released, I'll finish MK Mishaps 3 and maybe make another sprite music video. This year has just begun and there's so much to do! I don't want to let anyone down.
I have a good new years resolution:  I promised myself to dedicate more free time to flash. It'll be tricky at first, but I'll find a way to do it.

Thanks again for your support and be on the lookout for anything new.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since my last update. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I don't have any new year's resolution yet, but I'll think of something.

Ok,back to the topic...after a few months of absence I have teturned with a new treat for all you MK parody lovers out there (Admit it, you kow you're one of them). I haven't worked on it much,But I was able to create a short intro/trailer for the next episode of  MK Mishaps which was inspired by a WWE based Flash in Newgrounds that I'm sure you've seen on the front page before. There will be more jokes related to wrestling, pop culture, and other video games. If I find enough spare time to continue with it, then it could be done sometime around mid February 2006. check it out here.

As for Four Swords Misadventures 2.2, I'm adding some finishing touches to the flash and waiting for one of the voice actors to finish his lines. I won't reveal any info about it until it's debut. I want to release it before the new year, but I have to wait until I have everything ready. If you're reading this paragraph, then please pray that it gets released  tomorrow or sooner.I want to finish this and move on to my next projects that I'm sure you'll all enjoy
