Firstly, I would just like to say, I think the work you do helping these dogs is brilliant. I also would like to ask for some advice. I own a 5year old male Rottweiler called Roadie, I love him dearly but have recently been given notice to move out of my house as my landlord is selling. I have searched for somewhere new, but as soon as landlords hear I have a Rottie, I am told that they will not accept pets. I am running out of time to find anywhere and I am not holding out much hope.I am in the process of seeing if a friend or family member could care for him for a short while until I am able to take him back but f the time comes that I am homeless and can no longer care for Roadie, I just wanted some advice on the best way I could rehome him. The idea of handing him over to a stranger breaks my heart and worries me as you do not always know if they are true dog lovers and are going to treat the dog as it deserves. After finding your site, I feel that from what I have seen, you act purely in the dogs best interest and would appreciate any help you can offer.x

Really Kelly you sure on that? Who paid for his vac?s who paid for his Kennelling, who paid for his train fair, and passport, your find we did!

Oh Kelly did you not go and see your other sister on the Monday before Neo came back on the Saturday, you still chose not to make contact with Neo (funny that)
And as you said you could of taken him home on that Monday, tell me how.. when you didn?t ever have a passport for him or even any paper work for him to get back to the UK ..

so dont give me that crap Kelly,
I have not got the time for people like you that dump dogs,

Terrible people u are.
Making out that I dumped my dog in Holland.
Never met such a bunch of short minded people like you, except from the sister that brought all these terrible things in to u r head and u rather believe her over me, who had Neo for the last 3 year gave him a lovin home, took good care of him.
I was in Holland last monday and could have taken him home, but you lot decide to take him through all the stress to have to be placed somewere else again, only because the last 4 months I could not look after him and had brought him to a friend, and then all of a sudden all kinds of people start to interfere.
I think its absolute disgrace what you people do to Him and my family.

I love how you are helping Rottweilers find homes and to be loved.
Do you know of anyone who does this in Australia?
I would happily vollunteer with walking or training of the dogs.

What a fantastic job you guys are all doing. Brings tears to my eyes reading about the horrific cruelty these dogs have suffered. Having had a rottie in my life for the past 24 years, knowing their loving, loyal, gorgeous ways I dont know how anyone cud be so cruel. Keep up[ the good work. Have joined your facebook page. could i also be a member on here?

Hi, I'd just like to let everyone know, that we adopted MJ back in May 2010. She has settled in really well with our 7 yr old Rottie Oscar. She still has a couple of issues with coming thru doors unless she's asked and always after food. We live next to the woods and she loves running thru there every day. We have two teenage kids and she adores them and plays with them for hours, she is very affectionate and is very much loved by all of us and our extended family, never took to the lovely dog bed that wen got her, but loves the landing and our leather sofas. So glad we got her. Lisa (MJ's Mum)

I like to say a big thank you to Di. We have re-homed Neo(Nero) almost a year ago now.
We had to travel for 10 hours to get Him, but he was worth it every mile!!
Di did great work with Him, and Neo is the best dog you could wish for!
In the mean time we have adopted another Rottie from the dogs rescue and she,Roxi, and Neo are best mates.
Rotweilers apparently have a name to be dangerous, but Neo and Roxi wouldnt hurt a fly!!!
They are great with our 7 year old son, and we are a very happy rottie family!!!

What a wonderful lot you are, Solo brought tears to my eyes, why do this to any animal its not necessary. I have been very lucky to have owned 3 rotties, Jodie lived until she was nearly 13 and had a severe stroke, Lizzie lived to 11.1/2 and had cancer, my present little girl was 14 years old last Tuesday and although completely deaf and sleeps a lot, she still is the light of my life and enjoys slow walks and eating. All three have given me the most wonderful companionship, love and loyalty. Rotties are a pleasure and priviledge to own. They possess beauty without vanity, strength without insolence and courage without ferocity with the right owners. Good luck with your rescue.

Hi,
Just had to write in your guest book. I have a Rottie who is now 13 months old and love the bones of her she really is the world for my husband and me.
I have been looking on the rehoming sites for some time now as I would dearly love another but have found that there appears to be a stipulation that many wont rehome if the owners work all day?
I find it hard to believe how some people can treat these georgous animals the way they do or have the misconception that they are all viscious "Devil Hounds".
Since having Lou Lou we have had numerous amounts of people say how lovely she is and what a fantastic temperament she has (she loves people and cuddles - it still amazes me how surprised they are when they get Lou Lou'd).
My mission - if due to our work we are unable to rehome, at least we can contribute to changing peoples attitudes to these fantastic creatures.
