Staff Christmas lunch. A good time (and meal) was had by all!

The youth were busy this evening putting hats, gloves, and scarves out on the fence for neighbors to take as needed. They are great kids!

Pastor Julie got to celebrate her grandson's 1st birthday in West Virginia this weekend.  
Birthday boy Everett will be 1 year old Oct.14,2018. 
 Also joining the festivities was granddaughter Caroline who will be 1 year old in January.

There were items from Ireland, India, Kenya, Africa, Germany, England, Holland, Austria, Mexico, Israel, China, Spain, Italy, Thailand, Netherlands, France, Honduras, Argentina, and Nicaragua.


R.T. Case and his father, Butch Case are entering into a new agricultural-based

business venture.  Scheduled to open soon is SOUTH FORK MALT, HOUSE the 

first commercial malt house located in Kentucky. 

The business will be converting barley from the field to malt barlety , which is one of 

the main ingredients in beer and bourbon. It will be located on Seabiscuit Way in 

the Harrison County Industrial Park.

Retired Agent Teaches a New Generation the 

Fine Art of Canning

Cheryl Case retired Harrison County Extension Agent during the summer 

works for University of Kentucky for 5 to 7 weeks teaching Food 

Preservation, which takes in canning as well as freezing and drying.

She conducts 3 day workshops in counties where there is no FSC agent or 

where the agent has been there less than three years.
