RAP ARTISTS...

Poetry is an art-form that has existed in cultures all over the world.   Poems are beautiful music of language.   Poets are great communicators who use language to persuade -- to teach-- and to entertain. It is a unique way of expressing feelings, opinions, romance, social concerns, politics and goals -- with cadence, rhythm, and style.

RAPPIN' was a  highly respected vocal art-form that started before slavery in Africa...and was made more popular during the 1960's by "Spoken Word Artists," ...such as --
