The Poetry of Rory

We Kiss, We Cry

when she first met me
she looked me over and asked…
…if I thought I was a player
I smiled and said “Yeah”
only this time was playing for keeps
(knew this would be for real) as we are…
looking directly into each others eyes
deep sighs
heart palpitations
captivated by this Love we share
our lips salivating as another kiss we approach
then as our lips touch
…and we are reminded how much this love really means
where once I may have hesitated
…and she may have been a little coy
two empty souls now and forever soul mates
kisses, kissing
slow, tender, wet
time advancing into timelessness
raindrops falling onto our bodies
… are but tears of joy
