Join me in congratulating Sean Malgarez, otherwise known as Ace, for marrying his lovely wife, Melissa.  Congrats Ace!!!

After issues with the airsoft community and mixed feelings about recent events in airsoft, Rifleman Spades and Executive Officer Clubs offficially retired from airsoft. Commanding Officer King, has remained in command of the 91st, but has become inactive. The rest of the 91st Ohio have decided to remain active and carry the team name and reputation as one of the most iconic and known airsoft teams in Ohio.

Saturday, February 18, 2012: 21:18 Hours

Today the 91st attended Operation Dark Horizon in southern Ohio hosted by the Ruin Raiders and we had a blast.  King was SL of Echo Squad and five other people were placed into the squad.  We all worked well as a team, sticking together and following orders from Yawger, our CO.  The game play was fast and the terrain was rough, but that did not stop us from completing our objectives.  Well done tan.

Friday, December 16, 2011: 23:44 Hours

We have something in the works that should be VERY exciting.  Stay tuned for an announcement in the future!

Wednesday, October 26, 2011: 19:15 Hours

In just a few days, Operation Irene IX will be taking place at Muscatatuck in Indiana and we will not be attending.  It will NOT be a first for the 91st Ohio Wildcards...

Wednesday, October 5, 2011: 11:16 Hours

We have a big news coming.  It will be a first for the 91st Ohio Wildcards!

Sunday, September 11, 2011: 1953 Hours

Before I begin regarding the event Clubs and I attended yesterday, I would like to remind everyone that 10 years ago today, a major event happened that forever changed American history.  The terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon hit, and the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania changed us all.  Please remember those who died.

Yesterday Clubs and I attended Night Archer VI hosted by Miyagi.  This night game was by far one of the more fun games I have ever attended.  The game was constantly moving and the team work was excellent.  The green team put up a great fight the entire day, up until the end.  The tan team did an amazing job the entire day and would gladly play along side them again.

Yesterday was also Dead Pool's first try-out and as expected, he did a great job.  Many members of the 91st have known Dead Pool for years and welcome him to the team as a recruit.

Sunday, August 7, 2011: 23:25 Hours

Yesterday Clubs, Spades, and I attended Valley Creek's First MILSIM Night Game in Williamsburg, Ohio and I must say, we had a great time.  The first half of the day was strictly a day game, with a lot of defending from our side.  We, tan, were outnumbered two to one and we held our ground until the end.  We broke for lunch and at roughly 20:00 we jumped right into the night portion!  What a game.  Spades knife-killed around 20 green team member, while Clubs killed close to the same with his pistol.  In the end we lost, but we still had a great time.  Thanks goes to Team Stormblade for hosting the event.

Monday, July 18, 2011: 18:43 Hours

This past Saturday's game was a blast.  The heat was horrid, but the fun never stopped.  This was Knight's first game in a while and he had a blast.  The games were fast paced and intense.  Many thanks go to Miyagi and Splatter Park for hosting the game.

Thursday, July 14, 2011: 17:37 Hours

The 91st is attending OP: Night Archer V at SpatterPark this Saturday.  This will be our first time playing at this field and we are excited.  We hope to see you there!

Sunday, April 17, 2011: 17:57 Hours

We finally have our own domain name!  If anyone has linked to us, please change the link to "www.91stohio.com" and we really appreciate it!

Saturday, April 2, 2011: 2313 Hours

The 91st attended OP: Backdraft today in Roseville, Ohio.  We had an absolute blast playing Linebacker 1.3 (platoon 1, squad 3) on the NATO team.  Even though we were winning the entire day, NATO forces ended up losing because the nuke went off at the end of the game.  Losing the game wasn't that bad.  I know all the guys on the 91st had an amazing time getting out for a day of airsofting; even with the rain, snow, hail, and sunshine we encountered throughout the day.

We would also like to congratulate Ace, for he was made an official member of the 91st Ohio Wildcards.

*EDIT  It appears as though a few NATO forces did survive the bomb blast, so we indeed won!

You can also visit our game footage HERE  I would like to thank Clubs and joker for their hard work at editing the videos.  Thanks a lot guys.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011: 2125 Hours

The team finally has a youtube channel, so you can check out all our videos.  We will be posting video from events, gun reviews, tutorials, real steel shoots, and various videos from time to time.  Click here! --> http://www.youtube.com/user/91stOhioWildcards

Monday, January 17, 2011: 1930 Hours
We are attending OP: Backdraft, the sequel to OP: Flashover from last November.  We are hoping to come out in full force and take up position on the NATO side as Alpha Squad once again.  We hope to see you there, either fighting along side or in our sights!

Sunday, November 14, 2010: 1407 Hours

Yesterday we attended OP: Flashover and had an absolute blast.  It by far one of the best military simulation events I have ever attended.  I would also like to state that Solitaire has now been made a full-time member of the 91st Ohio.  Congrats!

Monday, November 1, 2010: 1900 Hours
The 91st Ohio Wildcards is going to OP: Flashover on November 13th, 2010 in Roseville, Ohio at the prison.  This should be a pretty goodd game for the Wildcards since just about all of us, including recruits, will be in attendance.  Wish us luck and we hope to see you there!

Friday, October 8, 2010: 2300 Hours
We are proud to officially announce a new recruit to our ranks, Solitaire!  Good luck out there.

Thursday, September 16, 2010: 1507 Hours
Check out our new recruiting video under the "Recruiting" link on the left.  Thanks to Joker for editing the video.

Sunday, June 6, 2010: 2120 Hours
OP: Kadesh was an exhausting event!  The 91st made up most of Bravo Squad of the MEU forces, lead by me, with a few others added to make our squad larger.  We started the day off assaulting Brown Town, failing.  This trend followed the MEU forces most of the day.  By lunch, the MEU had lost the first two objectives, even though we had superior numbers.
At 12:00 we broke for lunch and I collapsed on the way back to the staging area due to the high humidity.  Six players were struck with health issues from the heat and humidity.  Iron Maiden, from Team Strikers, tended to my needs and told me I wasnít allowed to continue after lunch.  Both Joker and I decided it was best because we were both feeling week due to the weather.  The rest of Bravo Squad continued playing without us.
There didnít appear to be much cheating from either side and sportsmanship was high.  It hasnít been confirmed, but the MEU pretty much lost the event due to subpar tactics and communication break-downs.  It was an enjoyable day, and a big thanks goes out to Urban Marine and Animal for putting on a well thought-out event.

Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 2132 Hours
Most of the 91st will be in attendance this Saturday at Operation Kadesh in Springfield, Ohio.  This is a military-simulation game and will be taken very seriously.  We are all thrilled about being able to go to this game.  I'll give more information this Saturday once the op has come to an end.  Wish us luck!

Sunday, April 25, 2010: 1540 Hours
We made a new addition under the "Roster" page, showing who is a current recruit.  Details are listed about them and we hope they become full team members as soon as possible!  I hope you enjoy the new addition.

Sunday, April 4, 2010: 1400 Hours
New pictures have been added to the photo album; taken at Operation Redemption 2.  Also, the roster has been update with new roles for the team mates.

Monday, March 8, 2010: 1940 Hours
The roster has been updated with a new look!  Each team member now has their own page so you can learn a little more about him.  Enjoy!

Monday, February 1, 2010: 0040 Hours
After waiting with our fingers ready on the mouse for the clock to strike 0000, we made it. Bishop, Spades, and Joker managed to obtain tickets to Op: Redemption 2, which sold out in a matter of seconds. It is an absolute honor to be able to go and play, and one hell of a stroke of luck. Op: Redemption 2 follows that of the first, but rather than be held in the Mansfield Reformatory in the day, this particular one is in the dead of night. March 20th, 1800 hours; see you there.

Saturday, November 7, 2009: 1800 Hours
The FAQ and Links sections have been updated.  Enjoy!

Sunday, October 11, 2009: 2112 Hours
Website has been updated with new roster pics.  As you return, you will notice many new changes to this team.  We hope you stay tuned for the latest information.

Saturday, August 2, 2009: 0000 Hours
OP: Redemption at the Ohio State Pen. was for sure a once in a lifetime experience. I am not sure of a turnout number, but the slots were filled within the first hour. The 91st played the role of convicts and our very own Spades played a VIP within our "clan" of red banded prisoners. I sat most of the game out from suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration, but it was still an honor to be there though I didn't do much.

Sunday, April 12, 2009: 0000 Hours
OP: Crimson Dawn 2 went well, with roughly a 170 person turn out.  Command of the 91st Ohio has been turned over to Spades, as I am retiring from airsoft due to lack of time.  I may play here and there, but school and work have completely taken over my life.  I will miss being apart of the airsoft community, and especially the Wildcards.

Friday, October 3, 2008: 1800 Hours
After a long summer of work, work, and more work, I finally have time to update the news!
A lot has happened since the last update.  We lost three valued members (Red, Dora, and Phil), Operation Nightfire was cancelled three times due to lack of interest, we have a new practice field, and new members have joined our ranks.  We hope to really start moving again this fall, filling out the team and becoming a strong force.  We may have not been around much, but the 91st Ohio Wildcards are not dead.

Sunday, April 20, 2008: 0450 Hours
I would like to announce and give congrats to the newest Wildcard member, Hawk!  I hope you enjoy your time with the 91st Ohio.  We know you will give your all!
Operation Nightfire will be taking place this summer in late July or early August.  If you want to know more about this event then send us an email at ohiowildcards@hotmail.com

Thursday, February 28, 2008: 2023 Hours
We are happy to announce that Radar, a member of the 91st who had previously moved to VA, is now back in Ohio, and is rejoining the 91st! Welcome back, Radar!

Friday, February 15, 2008: 0124 Hours
The site has been thoroughly updated over the past few days. The roster section has been updated with newer pictures and information (guns owned, age, status etc.). A few pictures in the pictures sections of the site have been moved around, added, and removed. Some information has been changed around, but not everything is complete.

We will continue editing over the weekend until the site is completely updated.

Monday, December 23, 2007: 2438 hours
Sadly, today we lost another member of our team; Radar.  Unfortunately he is moving out of state and cannot be apart of the Wildcards anymore.  Radar served with the 91st Ohio Wildcards for well over a year and will truly be missed.  Radar, we hope that we will see you on the battlefield again in the near future!

Monday, October 8, 2007: 0400 hours
On Saturday and Sunday (6th & 7th), Spades, Red, Dora, and I attended OP: Midnight Garden in Louisville, Kentucky.  There were a few members of the Airsoft Ohio community that went as well, so we all rolled together.  This was the first time the 91st Ohio had ever attended a night game, as well as a game out of Ohio, so the whole experience was great.  The organizers did an excellent job of making the game very milsim oriented and the objectives kept the game moving at a brisk pace.  Specific objectives had to be completed first before moving on to the next.  There were many instances of friendly fire and hot guns at close ranges, but thatís the only complaints I haveÖbesides the bug bites.  The last final push to get into the fort went well.  One by one enemy combatants were picked off, but there were still two inside that we couldnít get to.  I had tried to organize an attack to get inside, but no one wanted to do it.  So, leaving it up to Red, he lead a screaming charge into the fort, only to get shot after diving over a barrel.  But thanks to him, everyone came pouring into the fort and the enemy was taken out.  The game ended exactly at midnight.

After going out to eat afterwards, we took at mini trip to Waverly Hills Sanitarium and found out that the front gate was closed so we couldnít go up to see the building.  On our way home, we got lost in what seemed to be a never ending loop around Louisville, trying to find our way to I-71.  After stopping to ask for directions we were finally on our way home.  All in all, the road trip down and back was awesome and it is a new experience Iíll never forget.

Sunday, July 29, 2007: 1710 hours
On the 14th almost the entire 91st was present for Operation: Al Najaf. Unfortunately, most, if not all 91st members were unsatisfied with how the game turned out. Some bad sportsmanship, unforeseen mistakes, and lack of communication caused a breakdown in the game. But, by the end of the day, the Insurgent forces had won the game.

The 91st had been Referee's, organizers, and Role-players. All of us had fun while at the event, but we believe that we could have done things differently for a better day of Airsoft.
For our second event, the turn-out was great; it was just unfortunate that so many new players decided to come and play a shoot-em-up style of play, instead of follow the main guidelines for this MILSIM event. We will most likely redo this event next year and make it a strictly MILSIM oriented game. Rules will be more strict on the players, and organization will be better planned out.
We are already planning on our third event, which we promise, will be a LOT better. You won't be disappointed!
  Stay tuned.

The website has had a few changes made, of those the Arsenal section has been updated along with the Roster portion of the site.  Thanks to Airsoft Arms for allowing us to use part of the wall to hang our guns for pictures.  Feel free to take a few minutes to enjoy it.

Sunday, July 15, 2008: 2004 hours
The website has a new look and new members have been added.  I hope you enjoy it!

The 91st Ohio Wildcards attended Operation Black Aurora 2 this past Saturday in Springfield, Ohio.  King was in command of the entire US Paratrooper group and was ordered to do a lot of standing around.  Due to some registration issues, two team members, Knight and Spiderman were placed on the enemy side, the Kali.  The US team lost, but because two members were on the Kali side, we still won!

The day consisted of rain, mud, and cold.  It was in the mid 30s all day which didn't help players' morale.  There were a lot of objectives but the Paratroopers were only given three tasks to do throughout the day: collect munitions, escort a SEALS teams to destroy anti-aircraft guns, and secure the city of Bolshakavo so elections could be held.  There was a lot of planning and the storyline was full, so I'm giving props to the event organizers!  Also, congratulations to Knight and Spiderman and the rest of the Kali for a good game.  Well done!

Sunday, January 7, 2007: 1712 hours
A few members of the Wildcards attended OP: Electric Boogaloo today.  This also was the first airsoft event of 2007, so we were happy to attend.  BLUE TEAM ROCKS!!!

Saturday, December 9, 2007: 1800 hours
The 91st would welcome its newest member, Deuce!  We hope that you enjoy your time on this team and know that you will make a great addition!  Welcome!

Thursday, October 19, 2007: 1800 hours
The site has been changed around and the "About Us" has been updated.  Enjoy!

Tuesday, October 17, 2007: 2412 hours
The 91st Ohio had a blast at OP: Cobra this past Saturday in Springfield, Ohio.  There were 13 of us, including three members from the 91st Ohio SOG.  We functioned as one squad and I must say we performed very well.  It was some of our best playing that I ever saw.  One member of the Wildcards performed above and beyond other players.  Spades was our medic as usual and kept on healing and healing throughout the day.  He ran from dune to dune, in and out of ditches, dodging bbs.  So, for his actions on Saturday, he has been promoted to the rank of Corporal.  Congratulations Spades!  Also, this was the first event that Radar has attended as a Wildcard.  He too is promoted to PFC.  Congratulations Radar!

Monday, October 10, 2006: 0145 hours
The 91st Ohio Wildcards turns one year old today!  Throughout this past year, we have lost a few members, but at the same time, gained new members who turned out to be pretty good fighters.  Even with its ups and downs, we are continuing to become a better fighting force.  Many airsofters have inquired about the team, so Spades' vision of our team becoming a division some day may well come true!

Thursday, October 5, 2006: 1600 hours
With our one year anniversary fast approaching, we are practicing hard and are celebrating by going to OP: Cobra, hosted by the Strikers in Springfield, Ohio.  This is the first time when most of the team will be attending an event together.  It is an exciting time and it will be a blast!

Sunday, September 24, 2006: 1545 hours
Knight has been promoted to Captain and 2nd in Command.  Congratulations Knight!

The roster section is finally updated with our newest members.  Everyone has the proper pics and all is well!
