Weekly Sunday rambles
Unless otherwise stated all walks are about 7 miles long
Consideration for other walkers
When walking with a group, do not walk ahead of the leader. He or she
cannot control the pace if irresponsible walkers are forging ahead. As
groups are usually made up of varying walking abilities please consider those
at the back of the party. Leaders especially, are reminded that they must
set and control the pace of the walk to reflect these differing abilities, and must
not allow the pace to be dictated by a few members of the party who may tend to
force the pace. Failure to observe these considerations may deter members from fully
enjoying the walks.
For all walks please bring refreshments. There are normally pubs on route but we cannot guarantee the
availability of food. If you wish to join at the start of the ramble you should ring the walk leader in the
week prior to the ramble. When walking with a group, do not walk ahead of the leader.
