One Day Football Tournament.
The Zurrieq Youth Nursery is organising a one day tournament on the 21st December at the Zurrieq primary school ground. Those that would like to enter there team in this tournament can do so by sending an email on zurrieqfcyn@gmail.com or contact Manuel D'Amato on 99821654. We encourage other people that are not playing to come and visit us. so mark your date in your diaries for a day of football.

Christmas Buffet.
Tickets are out for Sunday 14th December's Christmas Buffet Lunch. Tickets @ 24 ewro for adults 10 ewro fot children. Contact the nursery committee or the usual runners. Let's bring all our families for a huge get-together powered by Joe Farrugia d-Dulli and William Elvis.

Positive start for U17 team.
From the start of the season Zurrieq U17 team have played 3 games and for now they are unbeaten. Zurrieq at the moment are leading the table with Mgarr but Zurrieq have the advantage since they haven't conceded a goal. Zurrieq played there first 3 matches against St.Georges(2-0), Vittoriosa (3-0) and Kirkop (0-0). The next game will be against mid-tabled Gzira on the 11th October @ Tarxien Ground. Kick off @ 2:10pm. We wish our players and coach good luck for the next games. Keep it up boys!

Training Starting for Under 9 and Under 11
The first training session of the new season for the Under 9 and Under 11 players will be on the 27th of September that will be on Saturday . Time of training will start at 9:00am.
U15 and U17 Groups Announced
Draws for the Under 15 and Under 17 competitions were held during the annual seminar organised by the YFA.
U15
The Under 15 team was drawn in Section C3. In this group Zurrieq will be facing these teams. Lija-Iklin, Msida SJ, Xaghjra T, Luqa SA, Senglea Y and Siggiewi. For more detailed fixtures please visit the fixtures section.
U17
The Under 17 team was drawn in Section C2. In this group Zurrieq will be facing these teams. Birbebbugia, Gzira, Gudja, Marsa, Mgarr, Kirkop, St.Georges and Vittoriosa S. For more detailed fixtures please visit fixtures section.
U 11 News
Zurrieq FCYN is accepting applications from boys and girls between 8 and 11 years. Training will be on sintetic pitches and it is going to start in September (Specific date will be given later). The parents interested, can download an application from the site or send an email on zurrieqfcyn@gmail.com and leaves the name of child, date of birth, name of parent and mobile or telephone number and we will contact him.
Meeting for Under 13 players.
For the Under 13 players a meeting will be held on the 26th August at the club at 8:00pm. Dates and training time will be given by the coach. All players are obligated to come. The first training session will be held on Wednesday 10 September at 4:30pm.
Meeting for Under 15 players
For the players of the Under 15 a meeting is going to be held on Saturday 23 August at the club at 9:00am. All players ara obligated to attend. Training time and dates will be given by the coach.
Training Starting
The first training session of the new season for the Under 17 players will be on the 4th August. Other dates for the other categories will be given later. A meeting for the U17 players is going to be held on the 29th July at the club at 8.00pm. All players are obligated to attend.

Fantastic end of season BBQ
The annual end of season event was held on Friday 20th June at the ‘Sunny Coast Resort’ in Qawra. It was a fantastic night with parents, supporters and players enjoying themselves by the pool in a friendly, fun, relaxing environment. After the exquisite BBQ food, the presentation took place. Players were rewarded with trophies and other tokens according to their season’s overall performances. The sponsors were also rewarded with small tokens for their continuous support. Special thanks goes out to all those who helped make this event a huge success and to the numerous people who attended this memorable evening.
