ABOUT ZOUAQ |

Zouaq is a decorative style of painting used to decorate doors, tables, chairs, boxes, picture frames, cupboards, ceilings... or any other wooden object. Designs can be tailored to the client's desires, to be simple or more detailed. While Ahmed has a natural aptitude for selecting complimentary colors, the preferences of the client are always considered. |

ABOUT THE ARTIST Moroccan born and raised, Ahmed, is a gifted artist who has mastered the art of Zouaq. He began learning Zouaq when he was very young and has had many unique opportunities to share his talent. He was employed with a company called "Cooperative d'Artisant Maroccan el'Bashir" in Marrakech. The highlight of his Zouaq career so far, was painting palaces for the Moroccan King, Hassan II, in Morocco and in France. He also painted for the Expo in In his free time, Ahmed loves to play soccer and enjoy the great outdoors. He is well travelled, having lived in
