Norris Road Anglo-Morgan's & Part-Bred Morgan's.

On Wednesday 29th Dec. 2004 Duchess had a serious accident, she has her stitches out now and fear of her succumbing to shock has now passed. She still has a long way to go in her healing but things are looking a little better now.

There are pics of her here.... http://www.freewebs.com/zes_/duchesssinjuries.htm

Don't look if you are a bit squeemish !

We are located on Norris Road, which is at Whatitiri, just out of Whangarei on the road to Dargaville. We are just setting up our small breeding operation (I say small but some would say Micro!). Currently I have two Thoroughbred Mares that I am hoping to either have inseminated or naturally mated in September 2005. The mares I have chosen for this are Cindi Babe (a.k.a. Cindy) who is by 'Victory Dance' and the second mare is Motley Crew (a.k.a. Ruby) who is by 'Hula Town' out of a 'Victory Dance' mare. I also have "Mt Tulloch Royal Tiffany, a registered Part-Bred Morgan by JMF Royal Secret and last but not least there is Tiff's foal 'Zes' who is 1/4 Morgan X 1/4?(possibly some arab in there)X 1/2 Thoroughbred. Zes will be gelded at about 6-7 months, he is showing that smooth, likeable, Morgan temperament already and should grow to about 15.3hh+.

(Tiff is wearing a web halter while we waited for the Farrier who never showed up!).I have bought a new Mare who is 2nd cross Morgan to train for endurance and generally be my saddle horse. She is Summer's Advent @ Okereru and I was allowed to buy her if I bred my husband a foal in a couple of years. We are also looking at a couple of Morgan purebred yearlings as breeding prospects for the future, and have been looking in both Aus. and NZ to see what is available. But, unfortunately due to Duchess injury I will not now have the time needed to handle any more youngsters and so will be putting off buying a purebred mare/filly for at least a year.

Have a look through my site (hopefully it will be fixed before you get here) you will see pic's of my mares and the other horses (the new edition too)that I have here or have leased out. Any questions can be directed to the link below.
