Dragon boating is easy to learn and caters for a broad range of fitness levels and age groups.
The most common reason people join in this sport is for fun.
Benefits include improved fitness, friendships formed in a team sport and the thrill of competition.
However, not everyone competes, paddlers add their own richness to dragon boating.
ALL are welcome and encouraged.
Zen DBC training sessions are:
Sunday 9.30 -10.30am Social paddlers
Tuesday 6 -7pm Social
Thursday 6 -7pm Sport training session
Saturday 9 -10am Sport training session
All are welcome but prior booking is essential and we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to each session to warm up.
If you are booked into a session and need to cancel - please send a text message to the Zen phone: 0448 265809.
If you are in doubt as to whether a session will go ahead (eg inclement weather) call the Zen phone (0448 265809) during the hour before the scheduled session and listen to the message.

See you on the water!
NIGHT PADDLING
In Summer we paddle and observe sting rays, fish, bird life and enjoy balmy evenings on the lake.
With the finish of daylight savings, night paddling paddling under the stars is amazing and we encourage those who haven’t tried it yet to see what you are missing!!
ZEN DBC provide night paddlers with PFDs to wear as a way of maintaining safety and visibility on the water…they also help keep you warm on those brisk nights. (or feel free to bring your own PFD if you prefer.)
