Zaria was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She began writing at a very early age, and refer to writing as something she was born to do. She received many awards and much recognition for her writing in high school and college. Although she admits  that writing erotica was not her first choice she does enjoy being able to create explicit sexual fantasies for her readers. Her first book titled: Lookin' For A Lover... takes you on a very erotic journey of a young woman questioning her sexuality and trying to find true love. Zaria states that although the book focuses on the relationship of two women, this is a story that can be related to by either homosexual or heterosexual relationships. "Everyone can relate to trying to find real love in this day and age. The problems that the main character encounters are very universal and relatable." 

The book is set to be released by New World Publishing on April 15, 2008. Zaria is currently working on her second novel, Lookin' For A Lover...Again! She is also working on several short stories that will be included in several different Anthologies.
