Well well well. My pretty little Angel Fish decided to lay some eggs.
This just so happens to be the mother (YES I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN) As I understand it:
After they have chosen each other as mates they choose a leaf (I think
its the male who chooses which leaf it is) then they both clean it off
together with their mouths. After cleaning it the female lays her eggs
early in the morning and the male follows closely and fertilizes them.
After that the female guards the eggs closely within about 10 inches,
while the male takes a wider circle and guards the whole area about 2-3
feet from the eggs. They both guard the babies until they are old
enough to fend for themselves.
