For starters:
A great place to train for people...around lvl 3-5 is against men. They give you a generous amount of gp per kill..and can be found almost anwere. I prefer the men in fallador-theres alot of them to train on. You can continue this basically as long as you want but men will start to get too" easy" for you when your around level 20 and higher. also...goblins are great to trian on...lots of them can be found in goblin villege... and this can be found almsot stiaght north from fallador. And one of the best places I can think of are... barbarians. They are just awsome for traing.. level 10.... and can be found in and out of the dwarven mine.
Tip for starters and lower levels:
"Teaming" can work for lower levels. If you know that your not strong enough to kill something..let somone else take the hits! Go to fallador and enter the white knights fortress. The 2 crossed swords at the bottom right-hand corner of your screens means that teamming is aloud-and teaming in the white knights fortress is aloud (but rememer, this also means that they can team up on you!) find a high level guy ad let him attack first. This way only he get the hits. then you can attack- you won't get the hits but you'll get plenty of experience
For lower levels:

Guards are great for training on. Once you get to around level 30 you should kill them with no problems. These can be found in the center and outskirts of fallador and varrok...Also the warroirs that are found in al karid are great..but be warned...they team up on you all the time...and can get a little difficult at times. This place is also great for raising prayer levels.
For medium levels:

Once you get around level 50 (with decent armor of course)... they white knights which can be found in fallador are great. By this time white knights should be relitivly easy...and they drop good items... including law runes, nature runes, and gems. But be carefull...if you accidently attack another when your already attacking one...they will team up on you! Another great spot to train both your prayer and your combat is against giants which can be found underground by edgvile...but you need a brass key to enter. They drop big bones which give you 4 times the exp of a regular bone
For higher levels:

Lessers demonds are just perfect to train on. These can be found in karamjas volcano. But beffore going here...its much easier to have a fishing level of at least 40 so you can catch lobies....believe me you'll need them especially if your under level 70 or so. Things to bring with you:
Lobster cage (or a harpoon ir you have a high fishing level)
Some money ( at least 60 gp)
Hatchet
Tinderboxe (you'll need these to make fires...don't rely on other peopel to make them for you)
good armor (ok..this is a must)
First...catch some lobssters (or swordfish)...cook them untill u have enough edible ones to survive on....and if nobody's makin a fire...go by the dock that you use to get on and off the island to cut trees for a fire. These are basicly the only trees on the island (well...for f2p anyway). Next go to the tip of the volcano and clime down to enter the demonds layer. go either right or left....I prefer right so if your low on health u can just shut the lesser out and wiat a little to heal (but you have to do dragon slayer to go through the wall). repeate this as long as you want...and remember you can almost literally do this for ever. You gain tons of experience from these guys...and they drop some good items to:
Money
Saphire
Emerald
Rubie
Gold ore
Jug of wine
Steel axe
Steel full helm
Steel scimitar
Mithril chian
Mithril square sheild
Death runes
Fire runes
And last but not least rune medium helmets!

Money Making:
Like most people I can think of at least of 101 different ways to make loads of $- and heres a few:
Mining!
This is my personal preference, I've made millions this way
. And this is how I do it (and did it)
In the begging I mined and smithed and sold my finished products to the genreal store (NOT all at once! The more of one item that is stocked the less it is worth! Make 2 items that get the same exp and the same amount of $, like plate legs and plate skirts!) Untill I my smithing level was 40 and could smith gold bars. My mining at that time was 50, this is pretty high and doesn't take very long if you are somewhat productive and have lots of time to play...(and knowing the best places to mine helps! I will talk of this in a later paragraph). Anyway go into the wilderness now, you should be strong enough to wward off some silly skeletons, and if you aren't, hire a strong body guard! Sart at the monestary near fallador and go south untill you get to around level 9 wilderness. Now ou shoudl be in a huge coal-mining pit.Mine this coal and use the edgeville bank to cash it in and repeate. I like to sell my coal by the thousands, but you won't be reaching those numbers....yet. When you think you have enough go world one and sell them in the fallador bank (the one by the mining giuld) for 150 each. plenty of people by coal! I guarentee you that you'll have dozens of people bidding for it!
Tip on mining (skeleton pit)
If you are not a high level and have no body guard, then use your head! hide behind the rocks, and you'll find a few that the skelatons will not penetrate!
There are many pkers around here that want your coal! to keep this from happenening, if you are attacked run around in the pit untill they are attacked by a skeleton. once they are attacked then run for your life! If you do this right it'll work every time.
Ok....
So you think you got what it takes...ah??? Well once your mining level is 59 (and by now you sould have made lots of $ and shoudl have a nice shiny pick now) go to the fallador bar and by a couple of drarven stouts for 3 gp ea. Take 2 of them and go to the minign giuld. drink one and go down the ladder, and your in! But some warnings on this not 100% technique...
It takes two! you need a stout to get in as well as out!
Not every stout works, every now and then you'll get a dud, and if you do, uh...your stuck....
If you do get "stuck" either cry for your momma (another player in this case) or mine untill your level 60, get out, and kiss the ground. You gian levels real fast here so it won't take too long. I was level 70 mining in the same week I went in (mined ap. 10k of coal and a mill a weeeeeek). After this spend it well, and don't let the beggers bite! (too hard)
Tree chopping
Ok This is my second favorite $ makin' method. I got a freind that makes almost egzactly the same amount of cash as i do (well, sometimes more.....but minings more fun
) Problem with this you won't make money untill you choppins around 60
Well, Start by choppin' trees, oaks, then...willows....
When you get here, well, f2ps your gonna be seein these babies alot... Go to draynor villege and find the willow trees (can't miss 'em) chop them down and stash them in the bank. Your wood cuting will riase very fast this way and I guarentee by the first 3 or so days you'll be at least level 50. Keep trainig these untill you level 60. and my little thing is that when ever I get about 100 or so logs I burn 'em. and I bet your saying "fire makings such a nooby level" well, compared to minign I have to admit it is, but its great to get yourself noticed, your skill total will sky rocket its so easy to riase. Well when your wood cutins 60, its tim eto bid your willows farewell...
Yews
Go to the northern entrance to fallador. There are 2 yew trees there, and cut them down. this may take a wile but Before you do this get a rune axe! they're only 20k and if youve never been exposed to one you'll think your living in a dream....*sigh*.....Use the bank near the mining giuld (incase your wondering, me and my freind met alot this way...) to stash them. at this period of the game I suggest not to burn them logs-thats burning money man! each yew logs is about 300gp ea. Buyers are very hard to find and when you find one put him on you freinds list and get him to be a personal buyer.
If you are a member, when you get to level 78 wood cuting magic trees may be for you, but....they take so long that if I did my math right you'll make more money on yews than magics untill your woodcutings aroud 84-86 or so. Swing that axe swing!
Well...Fishing would be nice to go over, although Honestly I'm not a great fisher myself...
Fishing!
And why not? its great to be a fisher man! But be warned: it is very, very, boring. Fishing tends to make money at a later end of the game, you can't just go out when you've never fished before and expect to make a couple k like in mining, no fishing takes time. But I recomend everyone to have at least a fishing level of 50, as fishing is a very valuable thing indeed.
Lobster fishing:
Start out by catchen shrimps, then work your way up to bait, then fly fishing. now heres the moderatly fun part: Go to the chicken farm outside of falador and kill 'em! take the feathers they drop and bury dem bones-anything to help prayer. In no time you'll have hundrends of feathers for free, wile gaining a coupld hundren or thousandes of exp in your prayer level. Then go to the barbarian villege and fish your heart out and don't stop 'till you run out of feathers! (and don't cook them yet, And DON'T drop them either! stash them in the edgeville bank and repeate severall times, fishing first, then, well, its cookin time). Do this untill your fishins level 40. Now to take a well deserved break from fishin' cook the fish. Do this by going to fallador and use the bank by the mining giuld to get your fish, then go to the little house looking things. I believe each one of them has a range, use the fange to cook your fish, this is by far the best cooking place to cook. This shouldn't take too long...
Well when your done with that go to port sarim. By a lobster pot from the fisher guy and make sure you have an axe and tinderbox (if you plan to sell them cooked, that is) and sail away to karamja. Go to the dock and fish. Now Lobster catching is NOT a very profitible buisness as it takes for ever to stash your lobsters. My suggestion: Do this later in the game, get lots of law runes and teleport out and run back (no armor of course). This works pretty good. Now if you dont want to or can't do this, sell them at the nearby general store. Even uncooked ones will sell for a desent amount. People that are training on lessers come out and by lobsters anyway, so they never get too high. Heres some ways you can sell them for optimal profit:
1. Fish them, cook them, then go down the volcano and sell them. go striaght and when you get to a sort of fork, turn right, and wiat outside the wall. Shout that your selling them....people will hear. And when poeple run out, offer them some lobsters. Chances are if they buy once they will spread the word and you will start to get more and more customers.
2. Sell them in varrok or falador. This is by far the most profitable way of selling lobsters. But You can only sell them at high prices if you have high numbers (have a couple hundred lobsters, people liek to buy large). Lots of times you will have to compete. surender your prices a little (only a little) and offer a bonus, like maybee 2 for the price of one I don't know. but if it gets too competitive, move to a different spot or world.
3. General store selling is great becuase it doesn't take more then a few seconds to go to the genral store to cash them lobies in for cold hard $. YOu may get a little more out of it if you cook them though-cooking exp wise and money, but it is not as fast.
Sword fish
These babies are hard to catch, and even though you only need a fishing level of 50 to catch them, I recomend you be at least level 65 or so before you even consider this as being your main income. If you don't have a high cooking level, peopel will still buy them raw but don't relie on it.catch them and don't turn the tuna down-sell it at the general store. But sadly THis is the best fish f2p players can catch, so if you are not a member I wouldn't recomebd this for you. When you fishing is higher and you are a member, there are more fishign spots (better ones) better fish and a trawler game which if you don't sink the boat can come back with some real nice fish
. All in all if your a member you will do awsome with whats to come in your fishing experties. good luck and good fishin'!
