Furname ♣ Zakkun
IRL Name ♣ Zakary R. J. Foley
Tools of the Paw ♣
This wuff uses col-erase pencils for the initial sketch and cleans it up with a mechanical pencil. Inking is done using black copic liners. Colour can be done using copic markers or done digitally in photoshop. I save everything as a PNG and/or PSD so transparency is an option it you want.

Elaboration ♣
Icon- 100x100 PNG. If you need it to be a different size or file type, let me know.
Furball- Head, paws and tail chibi of your character. Anthro only.
Badge- Image of your fursona and your name. I can place the name on by hand or digitally. [font choice]
Reversible Badge- Same as the regular badge except it has a flip side/back view of your fursona.
Chibi- A full three head tall chibi drawing of your character.
Bust- A head and shoulders drawing of your character.
Full- A full body drawing of your character.
Model sheet- Three full body views (front, profile, back) of your character, name (check font choices next to Badge), and colour swatches. If requested, three headshot drawings with expressions of your choice.
All sketches are done in pencil. If you really want you can choose which colour you want the initial sketch in. I’ve blue, green, orange and purple. I also have red… but it’s takes away from the clean up because it’s so bright.
Lineart is prettified using a variety of black copic liners. I don’t claim it to be pro but it is good quality lineart. My hands are not too shaky and I pay attention to line thickness in terms of foreground, midground, background and overlap. If you have photoshop I will send you a PSD of your drawing as well with the lineart separated from the background and locked so you can change the colour.
Colour is your choice of digitally in photoshop or done with copic markers. My colouring style is all flat. I can’t soft shade for sh**. For photoshop I place flat colours and then add a flat shadow, a shadow for 3-D definition and a shadow for overlap. Alternatively, if you want a little more detail in shadowing, I’ll do a three-four tone flat colouring. If there are fur markings I will smudge them together so they look more natural. I can also do gradients if your piece requires it. Highlights will be added where I deem necessary unless you specify. I usually colour the lineart dark brown because it gives it a little bit of a softer look in contrast to my flat colouring style but if you like it to be more graphic I can make the lineart black… or any colour you want really. I can also multicolour the lineart based on the solid colours. Again… if you have photoshop I can also send you the PSD if you want to make adjustments.
As for the copic markers: it’s pretty much the same deal as having it done digitally. Some people like the way the markers look better than the digital. Some of the cons of the markers however, is that their colour range is limited and the gradients and transparencies are a lot more difficult to make work, if they even do work. I might add in a touch of pencil crayon if the markers are limiting the quality of your image too much. Also the colouring will be done on the lineart… so if you’re having the hardcopies sent, the lineart version with be a photocopy. Pros of the markers:
If you want a background I’ll do a simple/abstract something in the background otherwise it’ll be just white. If you’re requesting a coloured commission I can also do a colour, colour gradient or a transparent background. Transparent BG can also be done for a lineart version.
If you want an elaborate background, I’ll have to charge you extra. One, because it’s more work for me; two, doing backgrounds kills the fun for me. Foresty scenes are easiest for me because I like drawing trees sometimes.
Limits:
First thing to point out, just cause I say something is hard for me to do doesn’t mean I won’t do it. I’m pretty flexible and often like to try drawing something new.
-The easiest for me to do is Anthro but I can also do human, kemonomimi or animals (non-anthro). Robots are HARD D: (no bad pun intended).
-Additionally if it’s an animal related drawing, Dogs and Dragons be my speciality.
-males are easier for me to draw than females.
-I like drawing digitigrades (or unguligrade) better than plantigrade but I can do both. I’ll do shoes but they’re unfavourable because they’re harder to draw and also not as fun.
-I can do more anime styled eyes if you wish.
-Lean body types are easiest for me to draw. Muscular and obese are next in line. Chubby is hardest because the features are more subtle.
-anything sexual is difficult for me to draw just ‘cause I don’t draw stuff like that very often.
-I’m not too keen on drawing the down there girl parts.
-I WILL NOT draw Mpreg. Just so we’re clear.
-I will give credit where it’s due.
-If speed is something you’re looking for… you should probably commiss someone else D: I can spew out sketches fairly quick, I think. But if it’s being digitally coloured don’t expect it to be speedily delivered.
