Zaedah's MS Diary

Welcome To Zaedah's personal Multiple Sclerosis diary. What originally began as a way to track symptoms and tests, as well as record the decision-making process, has been made public for the benefit of those newly diagnosed with this adventurous disease.

Years one and two are completed documents while year three is ongoing. All phases have been written as it happens and will hopefully answer questions and provide insight for those who, like me, had no earthly notion what this disease was at the time of diagnosis. 

Please note that my experience will be different than anyone else's. MS is unpredictable and each sufferer enjoys a unique version of it.

Multiple sclerosis (abbreviated MS, also known as disseminated sclerosis or encephalomyelitis disseminata) is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system, affecting the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other. There is no known cure for MS. Treatments attempt to return function after an attack, prevent new attacks, and prevent or slow disability.
