Mod Features

YNT 4.5 features 46 new units and structures. Unit info and screenshots will be posted here. It also offers 34 new Skirmish modes, many exclusive to this mod! Here's the story:

Yuri's campaign for global domination is proceeding slowly. The Allies have researched into air power to combat Yuri's increasing arsenal of base-storming armored units. Germany has improved on the Tank Destroyer and produced artillery with more stopping power. The U.S. and Britain have teamed together to produce the next line of high-tech fighter jets, exclusive to them. The Soviets have done the same, but since so many resources were lost, more research funding went to industrial improvements. they now have a formidable air force of MiGs, and a way of producing them fast and cheap. Yuri has improved on his gattling weapons systems, and developed the Gattling Fist, a heavily armored tank that fires a stream of tank turret shells. He has also taken his ground-based weapons to the air, with a Chaos bomber, which, like a Chaos Tank, can turn enemy units against each other without the necessity of mind control, but it takes to the safety of the skies. Now Yuri may have what it takes to destroy the Allies and the Soviets in one swift assault. His cloned units will swamp the battlefield and eradicate oppression once and for all.

Allied Unit Overview

Here's a list of all the new Allied units:

Gun Turret- Basic turret defense for countering tank rushes when the Prism Tower isn't available. $700

Sniper Veteran- Deployable sniper that has an extremely large range when deployed. $900

Allied Artillery- Long-range turreted German special tank destroyer. $1200

Cheetah Light Tank- Inexpensive armored unit to support Grizzly Tanks. $600

Leopard Jungle Tank- French special tank that can hide in forest areas. $730

M109 Paladin- Faster, stronger tank destroyer, German special unit. $950

M1A1 Abrams- The American counterpart to the Rhino Tank. $950

B-2 Stealth Bomber- Armored, radar-invisible American special aircraft. $1800

Black Falcon- Vastly upgraded line of Korean aircraft, uses a high-energy missile. $1650

Black Eagle 2- Modified upgraded Black Eagle, Korean special aircraft. $1400

F-111 Raven- British and French-specific carpet bombing plane. $1250

F-117 Nighthawk- American-specific stealth bomber. $300

F-2002- British and American-specific heavy assault fighter plane. $2600

FoxForce Fighter- Good armor and three shots, a great French-specific assault plane. $1500

K-2B SuperDiamond- British speed demon plane, like a diamond, it can last forever, in combat. $1500

XF-21 White Knight- Constant-hovering antitank jet, fierce in groups. $1000

Soviet Unit Overview

Here's a list of the new Soviet units:

Soviet Gun Turret- Basic Soviet turret defense. $600

Soviet Helipad- Soviet aircraft research allows for this and aircraft for building. $1000

Conscript veteran- Deployable more highly-trained Conscript. $200

Flak Trooper Veteran- Deployable flak troop with heavier armor. $350

Spetznaz- Elite soldier with a powerful anti-troop gun and can steal vehicles for your use. $1000

Tank Killer- The Soviet counterpart to the Guardian GI, but doesn't deploy. $500

BMP-1 Personnel Carrier- Infantry transport vehicle with a light machine gun. $400

Challenger II- Modified longer-range Tank to support Rhino Tanks. $1000

General Kehen's Nuke Assaulter- One of our generals has a personalized tank firing small nukes. $4000

Stryker- An Iraqi-Russian-specific tank with very high armor and a radiation beam weapon. $3000

MiG-17 Fresco- Light attack fighter, with less armor and speed, but shoots tesla bolts. $1200

MiG-21 Fishbed- Speedy air attacker that uses high-explosive missiles. $2500

MiG-29 Fulcrum- Fast assault fighter to reinforce Fishbeds. $2000

MiG-32 Fire Fox- Radar-invisible attack fighter. $2000

Tesla Cruiser- Fast ship with Tesla technology and a good range. $950

Yuri Unit Overview

Here's a list of the new Yuri units:

Yuri Airpad- Scary, Yuri with his own planes delivering cargoes of destruction. $450

Laser Defense- Tower with an energy sphere and a laser similar to the Floating Disc laser. $1200

Armored Car- This vehicle zooms across the battlefield setting fire to things. $600

Attack Bike- This bike has missiles to take down light tanks and aircraft. $450

Gattling Fist- Gattling tech applied to anti-tank rounds, at a high cost. $2500

Magnetic Repulsor- Shoots a laser that flips tanks and civilian cars over. $1000

Viral Artillery- Armored virus-shooting unit, useless on tanks, lethal to troops. $1100

Yuri Robot Tank- Fast cheap tank that doesn't need power to function. $600

Carpet Bomber- A flying-wing bomber that drops a line of psi wave bombs. $1750

Chaos Bomber- A Chaos Tank with wings, turns enemy armies against themselves from the air. $1500

Psi Ship- Mind control tech to the seas, can capture 2 units and detect underwater units. $1100

Skirmish Modes

There are 34 new Skirmish modes, 37 counting existing ones, most available for single player and, if both players have the mod, multiplayer. Only Cooperative is a multiplayer-only mode. Bolded ones are the original single-player Skirmish modes.

Air War- No high-tech units, just troops and aircraft

All-Knowing- Players get Psychic Sensor effect across the map

All-Seeing- Players always see the entire map

Alone in the Dark- Construction Yards have built-in Gap Generators, and radar is prohibited

Assault- Destroy the enemy's very strong Assault Flag to win

The Art of Rushing- Everything gets built and trained faster

Battle- Standard battle with optional teams

Blitzkrieg- Basic troops, tanks and engineers build cheap and fast

Blood Bath- There are no bases, just standard guerilla warfare

Cooperative- Battle a campaign with your friends

Crate Golden Gun- This mode combines 'Crate War' with 'Golden Gun'

Crate Golden Gun 2- This mode combines 'Crate War' with 'Golden Gun 2'

Crate War- The battlefield is plagued with powerup crates

Dimension X- Details will be revealed at the end of this topic

Economic Society- Harvesters are cheaper, faster, stronger, carry more ore

First Come, First Serve- All Tech buildings are invincible

Free-for-All- Standard battle with no teams

Golden Gun- All attacking units and structures kill or die in one hit

Golden Gun 2- All units and structures kill or die in one hit

Impenetrable Fortress- Attacking structures are invincible

Industrial Revolution- Non-attacking structures cost $100

Infantry War- Troops, miners, and troop-carrying units only

Insane Crate War- Way more crates than you know what to do with

Land Rush- Players must rush to find a good base location

Meat Grinder- Low-tech units and structures up to radar level

Medal of Dishonor- Units don't gain veterancy

Medical Revolution- All units self-heal

Megawealth- Capture Oil Derricks to earn money; miners prohibited

Naval War- Naval units and very low-tech land units

Rolling Thunder- Tanks, basic troops, and engineers only

Shadow War- All offensive units are cloaked

Special Operations- No country-specific units; all Allies get the Sniper, etc.

Super War- All factions get all superweapons

Team Alliance- Standard battle with fixed teams

Tech Fortress- Unholy Alliance and Impenetrable Fortress in one mode

Unholy Alliance- Build units and structures from all three factions

Unlimited War- All build limits on units are removed, queue limit of 10,000 units

Dimension X

This is a new skirmish mode exclusive to Yuri's New Terror.

GIs, Conscripts, and Initiates explode violently when killed. Run them over to safely kill them.

Cows explode like a Demolition Truck when killed. Mind-control them and you can blow up a base!

Mirage Tanks have a sniper rifle instead of the energy weapon, and a build limit of 4.

Terrorists can now disguise as enemy troops.

Units self-heal faster and buildings repair really fast!

When you sell a building, you get 2/3 its cost refunded.

Master Minds can control up to 5 units without taking overload damage.

Slave Miners sound like they're on helium!

Each side when owning a Tech Airport, and the U.S., has a new paradrop. Try it and find out what you get!

A new form of radiation is used in this war. Keep your troops out of the main combat areas. You'll see why.
